Even those apex doctors that receive more because of surgeries do so on a commission basis. The hospital gets the majority and the surgeon gets a small commission. And it's not everyday that hospitals get surgery cases.

And your tuition argument is flawed. I'll probably open a thread to discuss tuition. Because...while it's more expensive to study medicine abroad, you can't compare the quality of the training there and here. If their quality of training were as poor as ours, their tuition won't be that high.

Doctors deserve way more than they are currently getting, and this has nothing to do with tuition.
