Nothing makes sense with all these kidnapping cases. Whenever the criminals are caught, they look like they haven’t eaten in weeks. There’s no way they’re the ones benefiting from those millions they collect in ransom.

But after they’re caught. The case dies. Nothing is ever heard about it again. No court case. No sentencing. No follow up. No sponsors named. Rinse and repeat.
