Hello guys, on the new portal, my payment has been successful but the form number allocated is showing *post graduate diploma* instead of the masters program I had applied for previously. Should I continue with filling the e-form? What do you think? Anyone?

I think all is well now sir... I printed my admission letter just some minutes ago

Breakdown of JAMB Regularization Registration for National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Students

According to the memo from the Registrar's office, dated Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The JAMB Regularization Registration is now available, targeting students enrolled between 2017 and 2023. This includes students whose matriculation numbers begin with NOU17, NOU18, NOU19, NOU20, NOU21, NOU22, and NOU23.

The purpose of this registration is to assist students interested in applying for the Federal Government Loan (NELFUND). Obtaining a JAMB Registration ID is a prerequisite for accessing this loan, which can be a valuable resource for funding your education.

While there are significant benefits to having a JAMB Registration ID, including its potential necessity for future administrative processes within the university, it's important not to feel pressured. If you are confident in your ability to raise funds yourself for your school fees, you may choose to complete the registration at your own pace.

That being said, it's advisable to complete the registration when you can, as there may be a future need for the JAMB Registration ID in other university-related matters.

Please remain calm and take the necessary steps at a time that works best for you.

Thank you.

Dear Students Admitted from 2017 to 2023

If you have successfully registered on the JAMB Portal, forward a copy of your Registration slip in PDF to aogunleye@noun.edu.ng. This is to enable us to proceed with your application.

Also note that for those candidates having issues completing their JAMB registration, the University is communicating your complaint to JAMB for resolution.

Full time. No part time programmes.
NOUN operates Open Distance Learning. You don't have to come to any class. Follow your facilitation online, take your CA online. Exams however are at the Study Centre except for cases with genuine reason... U can be permitted to write your exams remotely.

Thanks for the clarification, but if everything is not going to be done online, how would a government fulltime teacher cope with this, I only heard of Masters by part time or sandwich for teacher's convinency. Please shed more light on it.

The question u asked, I already answered. All things are online except your exams which takes place at the Study Centre. If you work full time, you can take your leave during exams. And I said in a condition that you for instance cannot be physically present, you can apply to take your exams online and when approved, you can take your exams remotely. This application has to be strong and with documented evidence. For instance, if you apply for leave and you are denied, you can attach a letter of denial as evidence. If you travel out of the country during the exams, you can attach your Passport and visa approval page. NOUN stands for work and learn hence, it is quite flexible for workers.

That is not the current one and it does not represent the entire fee.
Kindly check here https://nounupdate.com/fee-check to have an idea of the fees. Note that the website is a third-party website and may contain some disparity from the real cost.

I am still battling with registration, payment confirmed after paying twice for the application fee. Now trying to fill the application form, I am on the last stage of the form but can't proceed with the choice of program.

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Anthonyo15(m): 12:30pm On Aug 27, 2024
2024_1 TMA Misconduct with incomplete results

If you were booked for TMA misconduct in 2024_1 and you did not re-attempt, and you now have incomplete results you are are required to re-register the affected courses for exam only.

Available options are:

(a) Take only the TMA for this semester (2024_2), and your examination results from the previous semester (2024_1) will be processed alongside the new TMA you take this semester.

(b) Take both the new TMA and the new exam for this semester (2024_2), and they will be processed together.

(c) If you are satisfied with your performance in the 2024_1 semester examination, you may take only the new TMA for this semester. Otherwise, take both the new TMA and the new examination.
