Durov went and got a French citizenship, thus putting him under the jurisdiction of French.
Same USA and French government were praising him few years ago after refusing to receive data to Russia government when the government requested he should give data of Russian citizens supporting terrorists and anti government.
That really shows his naivety in the understanding of the real world and western politics.

Guess what? Putin never called for his arrest and Russia government never killed him

❗️Pavel Durov made a mistake when he decided that his biggest problems were in Russia and fled abroad, Dmitry Medvedev said

"For all our common enemies now, he is Russian - and therefore unpredictable and dangerous - of a different blood," - Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.

He also added that Durov must finally understand that one cannot choose one’s Fatherland, just like one cannot choose one’s times.

Macron did it, because he was not arrested in Baku, or Moscow. He wasn't arrested in Tehran. Neither was he arrested in Pyongyang or Beijing but Paris.
They placed him under arrest immediately they knew his path will pass through French border, telegram is the app not controlled by CIA.
