Hopefully from September,we would stop wasting our FX on refining crude internationally and as such our Naira would become stronger

And do you know that Bode George was wrong? By PDP constitution the rotation of presidency from South to north or from north to south it only applicable to PDP constitution and not in the constitution or other political parties.
If by the PDP constitution, the last president of PDP extraction was from the south. Hence, Atiku Abubakar can prove it beyond reasonable doubt that it was the turn of the north after Jonathan from the south had done.
During presidential primary they should have rallied round and make a southern person a PDP candidate but they didn't do. Funnily he got substantial votes from the southern states during primary.

Don't mind atiku, a useless statesman. Had he allowed the presidency to be zoned to the south, by now the apc would have been a forgotten party. Wike may be fighting a personal fight. Had the ticket been zoned to the south and obi had the day, he would have supported obi. All he was interested in was the emergence of a southern presidency,regardless of whoever emerged , though he had interest too.

How can a Northerner leave and another Northerner is replacing him? Is either atiku didn't truly love Nigeria or some people of Northern extraction pushed him into his abysmal end. The era of Northern voting power which many of them had been using to rub us off down south is long gone.

Tinubu's decision was terrible and uncalled for. You don't punish all the citizens because of the few individuals that are not more than 0.1% of the population. That's senseless at its peak. No reasonable leader does that. Instead to kill the corruption that has eaten deep in the NNPC, you're making people to pay for your inadequacy. The funny thing is we are still hearing that the same Tinubu is still paying heavily subsidy. I think I read this afternoon that the money that have been spent within 19 months till date is more than the amount that was spent in the 16 years of PDP. I read the news today. You now ask, who is deceiving who in this country? You cannot continue treating headache without first killing the symptom.
Both the policies are antipeople because Nigerians are heavily dependent on oil and foreign goods. Anything that affect the oil affect all goods and services. Same way undulation of dollars, undulate prices of goods and services locally made.

The major reason why subsidy was removed is because we can no longer afford it. That is why Buhari didn't include it for major part of 2023 budget.
Hence,it is not because of corruption but rather unaffordability.
The Naira has been technically devalued and that's why money being paid appears higher. If you convert to dollar rate it is lower than what was being paid before. Above all,no marketer/ importer is being paid subsidy but rather the landing cost by NNPC is being augmented and not in all cases. Tinubu is making some strategic moves that would bring Nigeria to economic prosperity, how he managed to offset the FX backlog of $5billion and still raise foreign reserve to over $37bilion is commendable.Let's be patient for the next 2 months,you will see the difference. Unity beggar, unity is a scam. Tribalism is great and should be worn as a badge of honor, it means you are protecting your interests as it should. Where have you seen wolves uniting with sheep?
