Chimenum is a child born out of wedlock that his imo state mother took along as she was coming to marry her ikwerre husband. The step father had to adopt him. Biologically Chimenum is from Imo State and wouldn't find it difficult to identify with Igbos.

The guy is actually looking for trouble. It's better he keeps quiet than to try to prove that the Bini are not Ibo . The Bini will not take it lightly with him if they ever feel offended by his actions.

All these are quite unnecessary. Even in a family, any member can wake up one day and decide to dissociate from every other member of that family for whatever reason they so choose.
If any body says he/she is not Igbo, what's the big deal...... No one gets paid or given special benefits for being Igbo.

There are more important things to worry about in this country than ethnicity and tribalism.
