Read the original post again and try to comprehend that the accusations of looting are false. His accuser was Obasanjo who turned out to be to biggest looter and waster of Nigeria's wealth so far.

Performance of government(s) should be judged using 3 basic criteria... or 4 if we are considering points for a democratic system.

1. Purchasing power of the general population. This can be determined by using the average minimum wage against the cost of some commonly used commodities (gas, food stuff etc).

2. Cost of living. This is very similar to number one. Can the people afford to pay for basic amenities & services? Like health, housing, transportation, clothing etc.

3. Level of security/insecurity. This can be measured by looking at the number of serious crimes, crime related deaths and other similar violent statistics.

If democratic systems are looked at, then the fourth, level of basic freedoms and repression, comes into play. Press freedoms, movement, religious freedoms, speech & association freedoms etc.


The thing is, no matter how many roads, schools, trains & other beautiful structures are put up, if they do not combine to positively address the first 3 issues, then they are as good as useless.

What you do is a comparative analysis between periods to see if things are better or worse.

You are the one comparing governments. You said buhari was better than others in ALL parameters, yet you refuse to be specific on the ALL parameters.

1. Security

2. Infrastructure Development.

3. Light.

4. Fight against corruption
