When a president's advisers do not tell him the state of things with the common man and common men like Reno and co downplay the issue as if all is well, he will see no reason to act.

Aso Rock villa is not having insecurity, health, water and food problems.

Unless a president is well advised, he will easily lose touch with reality.
I don't think anyone becomes president and loses touch with the people. They probably lack the political will, mental capacity or competence to do some of these things we expect of them.

For instance, anything Tinubu is interested in, he does it immediately. We have seen fuel subsidy removal, new national anthem and other things he acquired for himself. But when it comes to things that concern other Nigerians, they aren't prioritized.

Any president who wants to know what's happening should always read newspapers and editorials. Option writers in newspapers rarely praise the leaders; they often criticise or say things they way they are....unless someone is paying them to hail the leaders.

my take on this issue raise by CB is that he is very correct. if the security agency can track and arrest calls and ticktoke of those who are championing END TO BAD GOVERNMENT PROTEST, i see no reason why it can not do so when it come kidnapping and general insecurity that affect the orginary Nigerians.

Kidnappers are not law abiding citizens, therefore they have immunity of crimes. Let one poor guy make a single call to call for protest against failed SSS, DSS, NPF, etc, they will track his generation from when even no computer exist and block his account and get him arrested. What is still baffling me with these issues are we have
NIA , DSS , POLICE , NAVY , ARMY , AIR FORCE , SSS, NSCDC, MOBILE POLICE , NIN , Satellite, trackers , BVN , . . .

And yet some untrained bandits will hold people captive for days , weeks , months and years using registered lines.
