Monkeys are pest in maize farming, so to get rid of monkeys, below is a very good trick.

Go to the market and get Ori( Shea butter) and unadulterated powdered pepper.

Place the Shea butter on fire so that it will melt, then pour the powdered pepper and stir.

Rub all the maize cob around the farm.

Monkeys are known to be body scratchers, they will touch the maize laced with sticky pepper abd scratch their eye, prick and body ..

The Money ended up not going too far, it didn't exceed 300 cobs. I took as a sacrifice to nature and better to leave them as part of Nature than kill it.

I think we should settle for some loss to nature in-between o. Na we invaded their homes

Those things are very wicked o. There was a time they almost finished my farm of about 1 acre. I had to put a scarecrow before they stopped.
At another farm, a hunter I set trap and killed 3 of them but I barely got anything from the farm. They finished it before maturity

Monkeys can destroy thousands of hectares if not prevented.

Monkeys love maize, Best is to have hunters in the area as meat is set for them, hunters love monkey meat too

One year an entire troop of monkeys invaded our village and they wrecked absolute havoc.

After clearing, pre planting herbicide application commenced. Pre planting herbicide application is important because it help to suppress weed intensity. Weed is a menace in agriculture, it competes with the crop for space, sunlight, water, nutrients etc.

Glyphosate was used for this operation.

Any measures taken against Fulani cow in the plantation? Don't be surprised that before harvest, Fulani herdsmen will unleash their cow on the farm.

Any herdsman should be shot at sight, there on don too much, after all this they would carry there cattle to destroy somebody's farm, the useless government we have are not doing anything to ensure this stop by making them pay for the damage or sending the owners to jail.

***Pre emergence herbicide application commenced immediately after planting...

***Atrazin and paraquat was used.

***Atrazin help to hold weed seed while paraquat kill all physical weed...

***Paraquat is a contact herbicide.

***I personally did the application as any mistake in this operation can lead to spending money on an unbudgeted expenses ( manual weeding)

This is my problem with agriculture in Nigeria. We keep using toxic pesticides on our food chain that have been banned in other countries.

Atrazine, Paraguay and glysophhates are banned in many countries but they are in widespread use in Nigeria no wonder cancer in on the increase and our exports are banned from entering some countries.
