I was on Jarus's throat when it happened but the wife has forgiven him and I closely watch how he now takes her out and visit places with her and this is all to make amends which means he secretly regretted his act even though he'll not publicly admit it (ego and pride which is typical of most men) and it's also not a habit with him as it was confirmed. He is clearly envious and had been looking for a way to damage my brand. I have no interest in the squabble between two friends after all Jarus and Seun are friends. I am only interested in correcting the misinformation that Islam opposes a husband beating his wife. The Quoran supports a husband beating the wife to correct her as long as he does it gently. Some of you need to research and read widely and stop giving misinformation.

By the way that Bible passage you quoted is totally different to the Quoranic INSTRUCTION on a husband disciplining his wife. Apples and oranges.

No it doesn't, Qaran is a religious book like the bible, tripitaka, vedas etc.
It is full of texts that makes you question it twice, you need to read and understand them very well.
