bidexiii:CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF CONDOLES FAMILY OF LIEUTENANT COMMANDER GIDEON YASHIM GWAZA On Thursday 22 August 2024, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla paid a condolence visit to the family of Lieutenant Commander Gideon Yashim Gwaza. Recall that Lieutenant Commander Gwaza passed on heroically in the early hours of 30 July 2024 when he led his team to rescue 59 persons on the verge of drowning onboard a dredging vessel, MV AMBIKA 4 at Okpobo River entrance. Lieutenant Commander Gideon Yashim Gwaza was a highly dedicated officer who went over and above the call of duty to fulfil mission objectives. The CNS enjoined the widow and children of the late officer to take heart despite the physical absence of their breadwinner. He further assured them that the Nigerian Navy will not forget Lieutenant Commander Gwaza's sacrifice and will continue to stand with the family. The visit was solemn but encouraging to the family. The CNS was accompanied by the Chief of Administration, Rear Admiral Kennedy Ezete, the Director Veteran Affairs, Rear Admiral MY Dahiru and the Commander Naval Unit, Commodore ST Lengaya. #NigerianNavy #OnwardTogether

Paraman:Because 200 people where killed..? Back in our own yard here..killing is no longer news it has become a norm...effectively we can call Nigeria one giant killing field...!! So what exactly are you saying or mean when you said the military shouldn't have taken over...? Infact the best thing to have happened to those countries is the military stepping in to give them a reset...!! France can do all they can in collaboration with their puppets in africa to sabotage those countries but they would come out tops at the end..!!! |

Continue to sit down face their job and watch until things get out of hands and the masses pour into the street uncontrollable right..? Clap for yourself..!! The military taken over is the best thing that happened to those countries..!! |

bidexiii:These ones should be converted into the Nigerian National Guard and they should be placed under the Army’s command where they can serve as Army Reserve. Way too much uniform agencies in Nigeria that are straining our budget unnecessarily. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by bidexiii(op): 5:15pm On Aug 28, 2024 |
Exnavyboy62:Honestly same here; I'll convert them to national Guard/reservists. But not under the command of the Army, place them under the army soon you'll see them with rusty ak's.

Exnavyboy62:The thing is, outside the Armed Forces the paramilitary have a 20th century Command and Control system. I often ask if they don't send their officers abroad to learn best practices. It is one reason I shit on the Ministry of Interior. All these years of putting Generals and no significant upgrade. |

#NORTH-EAST UPDATES In a shocking turn of events, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) launched devastating attacks on two communities in Yobe State, northeastern Nigeria, resulting in the death of 130 people. The corpses were recovered by rescue teams. In a gruesome turn of events, ISWAP terrorists strapped the bodies of the dead commanders with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) after their deaths, targeting mourners, rescuers, and security agencies who would respond to the scene. The group also planted several bombs on the roads leading to Mafa, aiming to delay response teams and inflict further casualties. Source; @zagazola
