This is unbelievable.
What a great loss.

I have known Gazzuz as a fine gentleman. Even though some times I disagree with some of his views..

I have called him countless times when I am in trouble with my cars and he was always ready to help me .

He saved me from fraudster on this nairaland who posted a fake car advert.
I loved the car and I called Gazzuz to inspect the car for me.. he ask me few questions and after giving him answer he boldly told me that the seller is a scammer ...I couldn't believe him , he told me to ask the seller to send a video of the car in its present condition,and he bet me that the seller won't do that... True to his words , I requested for a video and the seller ran away......

Mind you I have not set my eyes on Gazzuz in real life ...just met him here..

Rest in Peace , Gazzuz......
I will miss you greatly.

This is one death of someone who isn't my relation that actually made me cry

Such a brilliant and extremely promising person gone just like that...This guy was legit on his way to being one of the top four automobile dealers/Mechs in naija

This guy gave me free advice when I wanted to buy my first car in 2018, and also set me up with a buyer of a car I posted for sale here, all without requesting or collecting a dime...

I detested after market CNG installations in vehicles, of which he was a very strong advocate for. And I never wasted any opportunity to put it to him with all my muscle, while sometimes attacking his person inadvertently in the process..

But he never reciprocated the insults, and instead took pains to explain to me his position and at most, ignored me and my bad bele. He was very focused and also very peaceful...

May God give his family the fortitude to bear this very painful loss...

Gazzuzz was different

I remember when I bought oil from him; whilst he casually walked me back to my car he'd assessed my tyres and he advised me of the ones I needed to replace immediately, to avoid the risk of explosion

That's kindness

Didn't know him personally but I know he was a popular and stand up guy in the auto section. Haven't been taken back by the news of death of a nairalander since Hungerbad.
May all the remaining of us on Nairaland live to see the end of this year, and many many more and happy years, in Jesus name, amen!

I'm not sure what to believe with the strange tone of some of the previous posts.

Gazzuzz has some close friends who have commented on this thread. They need to clear the air. What exactly is going on?

Edit: Having gone over the thread a second time, the posts of those close friends is not a good sign. I ran through the thread in a hurry at first because the header got me very agitated.

Oh God what is this?

I was with him all thru his journey,he was my best friend n confidant.

Was with him when he was referred down to the federal medical centre in my state from the accident scene at agbor,

Was called to meet him at fmc,he all bloodied,and had to message his chest down,sadly he told me to quit wasting my time,that he couldnt feel from his neck downwards and introduce me to his 2 friends ,and told them he trusted me with his life and told them I could get him some essentials,I met two of his friends there,he made me swore an oath due to the fact that he has lots of adversaries on this space,stayed with him at the hospital,even all thru the process,message his fingers and was in the private ambulance that ferried him to run his citiscan and how he was dissing out instructions to the ambulance driver to lock his stretcher,and some points he was cautioning the driver and how he cautioned me for putting on a gown to the hospital.

I was all teary,even in pains,he told me to cheer up and lock his fingers ,I can still picture him telling me to rub beneath his head (sobs)

Dude was really in pains and held my hands in the private ambulance,his 2 friends really mounted for him.

I can still remember him insisting on them wearing the protective gear on me due to radiation and how I held the board.

At some point he was complaining to me and I had to tell the private ambulance driver to halt so we could lock the stretcher and people starring at us in-between akpu junction.

I choose to remain anonymous....but I was with uche all thru his journey...

I was with him when the citiscan was being conducted because he insisted in my being there,he called his wife in my presence,at some point I was scared and started crying,he cautioned me to be strong, ...


We eventually left for the fmc and I was determined to stay the night with him,he told the private ambulance guy to drop me at home so as not to get me into problems.

The next day fmc went on strike,I called his friends and was told he was being private journeyed to UBTH....


I snucked in to see him....wished him well and has always kept in touch.....

I haven't slept since last night to this moment ,my family really missed you uche.


Only to be told yesterday that he has passed....gazzuzz rip in peace sir.

I tot he was going to pull through...he was indeed a friend,a brother and a selfless man.
August 27th a dark Tuesday.
