Things need to change. Obviously our attacking trio can't work against a low block because two out of the three are uncomfortable in their positions. So you see them clustering in one area of the pitch which makes them easier to defend. Then this Mbappe has been playing weirdly of recent. What's his problem? One time Rodrigo has the ball and was running towards the left side of the goal. All of a sudden, Mbappe (who initially was on the right occupying a defender) decided to switch to the left unnecessarily and ended up killing the attack. Another time, Vini gave him a pass on the edge of the box and was running free towards goal. Mbappe refused to return the pass for no reason. If he continues like this, I hope Ancelotti has the balls to bench him till he understands himself. |

A thought occurred to me Mpape should calm down and understand that this is Real Madrid and not in PSG he may not be able to play in Real Madrid the way he plays at PSG. He has to adjust and adjust quickly to fit in and blend with the team |

I'll keep on saying it. Mbappe is a greek gift. What's the difference between him right now and joselu last season. At least joselu even offered aerial threat and proper striker positioning. We had world class wingers already. We just needed to strengthen the midfield, get a replacement for Kroos and Modric while using either of Bellingham or Diaz as false nine. The 442 formation we played last season was so difficult for teams to handle because there was a hole in the middle of attack which either of Vini, Rodri, or Bellingham could make suprise runs into, and score quick fire goals. Bellingham playing a dual 9/10 role meant we had more midfield control. We need to revert sharply to 442. This three pronged attack with a confused Mbappe will only prolong our suffering. |
