In my opinion, the house belongs to the land owner unless the guy can uproot his house from the land. Alternatively, they can break it down, or she can pay off the house cost.

The owner of the land owns the building unless there's a legally-signed agreement that the house belongs to both the builder and the landowner.

Another way is that builder can own the building for a while and hand it over to the landowner or the builder can be asked to pay the landowner off if the landowner accepts the payment.

In nigeria whoever owns the land, owns everything inherent.

A man can come tomorrow with kids from other women who will start dragging space with your children and insist they also have right to their father's property but what is yours as a woman solely belong to your children, nobody can drag it with them.

My deal breaker in marriage is having kids outside our union, no apologies on earth will ever make me stay and I'll never speak a word with you again till we go back to our creator, this is one thing I'll warn my future husband about. As tolerant and forgiving as I can be but don't ever dare that with me.

She owns the land, the man owns the property. If they divorce, the land owner owns everything in the land and because of that, the man should get a bulldozer and bring the house down. This is exactly what I will do if that question ever arises. Go and build your own, madam land lord. You can't just chop my sweat. No time to waste time.

Breaking down the house doesn't make sense. The husband should pay his wife for the land or she pays the husband for the building, whoever can afford the payment.

If you can't build your house in the air or carry it on your head then the case is settled. The owner of the land is the owner

I have not seen a house documents,house invoice or receipt,the documents used to sell or prove ownership of house is the land agreement documents,so he who has the land is the owner of the house,how can you even prove in court that it is you that built the house,they will just slam a no trespass order on that guy,the house is lost,he can never claim the house again
