ago begged 60 people to lend him $1 million to get Amazon off the ground in exchange for 20% of the company. Only 22 of them including some of his siblings and parents believed in him. If he was a billionaire, why was he begging for 1 million.

2) Anyone with access to the Internet who believes Elon Musks dad had an Emerald mine is either mentally lazy or has low IQ. The emerald mine is an urban myth created by people who have failed in life and looking for excuses to explain why others make it.

Well, I differ when you said she has low IQ. She may not be fully correct on the two points you raised. But others areas she mentioned was naked truth.
Probably she should have said it rarely happens for someone from poor backgrounds to rise to billionaires.

Nonetheless, most of what she said was accurate and on point!

I just watched this video and the girl [though she spoke with a clear diction] was engaging from a very FLAWED angle. Aside from Aliko Dangote whose maternal grandfather [Alhassan Dantata] was the richest man in Nigeria and indeed the entire West Africa as of the time he passed on in the 1950s, most of the remaining Nigerian-born USD billionaires and millionaires had to work hard to get to where they are today.

The Forbes listed USD billionaire Femi Oyedola's father [Sir. Michael Otedola] from Epe, Lagos State worked with the oil and gas company now called Chevron and rose through the ranks before becoming the Governor of Lagos State back in the 1990s. Mrs. Folorunso Alakija also hailed from the wealthy Ogbara family of Ikorodu, Lagos and she was actually sent to Wales to study alongside her sister even before both of them clocked the age of 10!

The super-wealthy globally have had to really work hard and smart to become USD multi-millionaires and billionaires globally.

Last but NOT least, it is incorrect for the girl and others who are not well-informed to assume that USD billionaires who are ranked on Forbes list of billionaires have loads of physical cash at their disposal to blow. A vast amount of what they are credited with is just in stocks and are not readily in form of cash. So, it's improper to guilt-trip wealthy folks and billionaires into parting with money they do not readily have.

However, whatever wealthy folks can afford to give to folks who show great promise and genuinely need to get to the NEXT level, then they should go ahead and give them some financial aid. Anybody who feels entitled to a millionaire or billionaire's money MUST be shown out of the door ASAP. Period.
