The OP is a known sore Obidient loser turn IPOB.

He created this thread which was pushed to FP by the IPOB mod to bring back nostalgia for military dictatorship.

They are that desperate to see to an end to our democracy all because a Yoruba man is President.

Well, sticking to the topic, I give you my own

Brigadier Benjamin Adekunle aka Black Scorpion.
You should be ashamed of yourself and your useless democracy. When Shagari was overthrown Nigeria was Paradise, now more than ever military is desired.

Nigeria no doubt have had it own share of military men and women that really hold their Fort during the prime of their time. From the Nigerian Army, Navy and Air Force, they are all bestriding everywhere.

Here are pictures of some of them. You can add your favourite Nigerian military man or woman to make the thread more interesting. The floor is opened.
Truly nostalgic. Here we go.

1. Brigadier General Benjamin Adekunle (aka Black Scorpion) of the 3rd Marine Commando division of the Nigerian Army... An iconic and very essentric man from the 1960s through to the 1970s. (Born of a Yoruba father from the warrior and business-oriented Ogbomoso people and a Bachama mother from the current Adamawa State). The 3rd Marine Commando is known officially as the 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army.

2. Vice Admiral Patrick Koshoni and Vice Admiral Michael Okhai Akhigbe are my all-time favorites from the Nigerian Navy.

3. Group Captain Gbolahan Mudashiru and Group Captain Emeka Omeruah are my favorites from the Nigerian Air force. Both handsome men, looking dapper in their uniforms back in the early 1980s to late 1980s.

You failed in military coup

You failed in a democratic process.

You will also fail again in trying to bring war and anarchy .

Adekunle was a lunatic. Nothing fascinating about him
How?

He's military brilliance saw to him chasing your biafran orcs out of the entire present day SS.

To even think he overran the entire occupied SS in less than 6 months to root out an entrenched invasive force shows his really military prowess.

He was so good that your losing side started gasslighting him as a genocidal maniac even though there was no account of men under him targeting civilians. The top brass in Lagos simply used that to remove him after getting weary of his popularity. The buffoon Obasanjo will then drag the war for another needless 2ys. If Adekunle had been left in command , the entire Biafra would have collapsed in another 6 months, thus saving needless loss of life.

Died miserably and remorsefully. His progenies are wallowing in stinging poverty.
I didn't see any of you mention your arm chair General (Ojukwu) who spent the better part of the war hiding from Adekunle in underground bunkers.

COMRADES, the hero among them is Domkart Bali, to assassinate a president is not a child's play

All those moslems officers, after the Christians officers fought for them, they would make themselves the ceremonial Head of State, therefore, there's nothing heroic about them
But the same Muslim officers also fought and made Yakubu Gowon the head of State. You have forgotten or you decided to feign forgetfulness.

I pity PO’s people.
They are making things worse for themselves.
They dragged themselves back to pre civil war era… everyone, online and offline, is now conscious of them and their activities in their community.

Look at this thread now, another of their subtle useless agenda of bitterness.

The young cub y’all playing with will soon become a full grown lion. Continue

Easy to detect kids who never truly witnessed military rules but only moving with the euphoria of the bandwagon. Op should rather ask himself why we have so many coups and counter-coups.
He never knew they all happened or are attempted under the guise of pushing to turn around a perceived bad leadership and/or economy.

Kindly search for the Account of the First Nigerian Coup by Capt. Nwoboshi (Rtd).

He gave an account of Major. Kaduna Nzeogwu , his bravery and revolutionary mindset.

Kaduna Nzeogwu executed the first coup in Nigeria, was the first indeginous Chief Intelligence Officer (Currently NIA).

And he personally plotted and executed the first coup in Nigeria.

He was young, brave, gallant and intelligent.

Exactly. Any barrack boys born in the 90s would testify to how different soldiers back then were built. They moved different. In my opinion the last wave of those breed are 79Na and 90NA.
You are blessed.
My dady was an NA,the ones before the 79NA.
He retired in 1988 we left the barracks in 1989 I still spend time with the 79NAs my senior Bros and left him in early 2000.

Those are the last breeds in the Army.
