And hence their participation in the pageant.Did they stop you from registering, if you were interested? You don't know how this thing works. This not a government thing where federal character is respected. Any interested person can be registered to represent any state. Taraba state apparently didn't have any contestant, this gave Chidimma the opportunity to contest.

I think the pageantry saw a young woman who was used as a scapegoat for the failings of a government and further denigrated because of her heritage by a people who deny xenophobia yet it is very evident that they are.

They are therefore offering her the opportunity to redeem her character no mater and further her modeling career.

Case in point. A good number of players on the female basketball team represented Nigeria on the world stage at the Olympics Nigerians recognized their efforts towards the country and had no need to question whether they could sing the national anthem or what their favorite Nigerian food is.
