This should not be acceptable for international milk producing company. It is understandable if this FFMP is reserved for only Nigerian owned company.

NAFDAC is useless. All they know how to do is to take bribe and allow people to continue producing poisons.

The Beverage company is Coca-cola
Their drinks was exported by an Igbos businessman to Britain where it was seized and destroyed for being "not fit for human consumption". The man came back to Nigeria and sue Coca-cola for the loss.

Coca-cola told the Court that it was only meant to be sold to Nigerians and not meant for export.

Don't ask me how the case ended. This is Nigeria

Summary is that anything goes in Nigeria. Some years ago, a coy sued a beverage coy for damages as the product was seized and destroyed when they exported it to a developed nation. The destruction was because it had excess of a particular constituent and wasn't fit for consumption. The response of the beverage coy was that they didn't inform them that the product was meant for export. Meaning they deliberately produce substandard for Nigeria. Same NAFDAG responded that Nigerian max allowed for the same substance was more than what is allowed in Europe however a test of the beverage and that of similar beverages in the country showed alarming inconsistencies among same products of the same coy and the quantity of the substance in the product and that of others was more than the Nigerian max value.

Things that kill us in this country are so plenty o.

No wonder our life expectancy is so low.

I was listening to an interview of Dora very long ago, when she said a fake drug merchant was brought before the court, and the judge just gave him 10k fine

When Dora was there too, manufacturers were naming vegetable fat milk as full fat filled milk

Africa and nigeria inclusive has no standard, so manufacturers can call their product anything

Even satchet water will be written 50cl, measure it yourself it will not reach 50cl and it carry number

If you no give your pikin name people will name him for you

I didn't see powder milk throughout my staying in foreign white man country you only have to see raw milk in can,

There is a lot of fake powdered milk and sugar here in Nigeria Nafdac has failed Big Time

To preserve raw milk, you need to put it in a fridge at 4 degrees Celcius or below. Most Nigerians don't have power to do that that's why. I bet the place you lived abroad have constant power and the milk was taken from a fridge when it was sold.

As usual, they are more concerned about protecting their image than focusing on the real issue of protecting the citizens.

So like this Na die Nigeria de for so... NaFDac is just an agency for collecting expensive registrations from producers, discouraging genuine producers , collecting bribes here and there and labelling rubbish.

This is the problem with all the government task forces in Nigeria that are supposed to be regulatory agencies and enforcers. They would just go to the place and collect huge amounts of money as bribe

Speaking the truth in Nigeria is now very risky. When even Journalists are now endangered species, it may be wise to avoid direct confrontations. E get why.

I don't have the time and strength for wahala.

There are powder milk in their stores. But most people drink the fresh liquid milk ..

I can understand but this one is already in the public space for even the blind to see.

The case of the photographer in Abuja who spent 10months in Prison Prison for resigning from work via text message is a reminder. Nigeria has never been a place.

Abeg when last did you see nafdac destroying fake drugs or goods.
Chai Dr Dora died and not one person wants to fill the void or vacuum Dr Dora Akwuyili left at NAFDAC

save Three Crowns that is not advertised as dairy milk, we are buying mainly Palm Oil as milk in this country!
Yet the NAFDAC will give importers hell with different requirements all over nothing - they have turned into a money generating agency just like FRSC left traffic regulations and correcting driving habits to focus on fines and driver's license.

I totally agree.

The story of NAFDAC falling from an organization feared by criminals to an organization no body hears about has a lot to say about the importance of good leadership.

If Nigeria can get a leader as ballsy as Dora Akunyili, we'll see how these criminals and cabals will be thrown in jail and how good people will rejoice.

People abroad rarely drink powder milk except using it for baking. First time I tasted real milk was when I left Naija and I didn't like the taste because I'm too used to powder milk or hollandia and peak milk. Those milks sell here because they do not require refrigeration. The only place to see powder milk abroad is in the baking section not dairy section. It's just amazing that I never knew what real milk tasted like until I travelled out.

It's written on the label and specified correctly as a blend of Skimmed milk and Palm/Vegetable Oil.

You're not intelligent, offence intended. The issue is that ffmp is advertised and sold as milk which your screenshot corroborates as opposed to what it actually is-milk alternative.
