In the middle belt to north west we have ethnic groups whose people bear names like Nandong, Nanjing, Nantang, Nanfwang, Fogyang, Fungo, Tarweng, etc. Their languages also sound AMAZINGLY Chinese/Japanese etc. I also noticed that people from there tend to have those slanty thin Chinese - type eyes. Are NIGERIANS the remote ancestors of the Chinese? |

illicit:Explain the connections. Linguistic and physiognomical. If you went to a remote country where the natives bore names like Jack, Michael, Esther and Oliver, you would conclude immediately they must have had ancient contact with the English. So what’s the difference here? Why are Nigerians bearing clearly Chinese names, or you are not aware of it? Actually the more accurate question would be “Why are the Chinese bearing Nigerian names?” |

I have always been curious about how these similarities arose. Perhaps their ancestors migrated from China, with some settling in Nigeria. Are there other languages in Africa that share similar characteristics? |

illicit:So you have ZERO IDEA about the history of ancient African presence in China, which the video discusses with abundant evidence, yet you are DISMISSING the linguistic connections? Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance - Albert Einstein You are no linguist. What sort of linguist refuses to, or can't afford data to watch a 20 minute video to learn new information about possible linguistic connections between his own country and China? You're the most unlinguistic linguist in history. |

lionshare:ANCIENT NIGERIANS AND OTHER BLACK AFRICANS were the world's FIRST explorers. They traversed the seas in ships, and sailed to the Americas, to Australia, to Asia. To Europe. The first empires of China, India and Japan were BLACK AFRICAN empires. This is all very well documented. Rossikk:The Chinese culture shares a lot of similarities with typical African culture. Many times i have wondered whether the Chinese and the African share the same origins. What with the love for family, even extended family, the marriage rituals, the respect for elders, etc. I was even astonished to see some Chinese elders observing some traditional dances while celebrating a family members new house in tneir village, just the same way we throw owanbe when someone wants to open a new house over here. |

MadPolitician:Names of the Mwahgavul people of Plateau state: Nantong, Nanking, Nanching, Nanfwang, Nanchang, Nankin, Ching, Nankeen, Nanji, Yen, Talang, Tarjeng, Tarweng, Nabam, Katbam, Naijen, Nandom etc etc. Every one of those names is also a Chinese name. Our ancestors were great travellers. That language they call Mandarin in China is an ancient Nigerian language mixed with some other stuff. Mwaghavul & Berom ladies. Kemetian:If we were such great explorers What did we bring back from the voyages? How many Chinese did we bring back home? Where were the ships built, with what tool, which technology, go to do what in China or Japan, if there was a trade route, what now happened, how did we forget about it? Any historical record to this? Our languages don't even belong to the same family They have different alphabets, different orthography, have u seen how Chinese writes? Do you know long Chinese have been writing? Interior Africans don't even write, we may carve or design but that's not writing What we call nsibidi is an esoteric language understood by initiates not for everyone |

illicit:Black Africans INVENTED writing. The oldest scripts are the NUBIAN (OR MEROITIC) AND KEMETIC HIEROGLYPHS dating over 10,000 YEARS OLD. What are you talking about? Black Africans are the world's FIRST AND ORIGINAL PEOPLE. That is the first thing you need to get into your head. THIS IS SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS. The Out Of Africa thesis. EVERYTHING STARTED WITH BLACK AFRICANS: Writing, Mathematics, Chemistry, Astronomy, the Calendar, Marriage, Religion, Speech, Iron Smelting, Mining of Minerals, International trade and shipping. Architecture, Cities, Medicine, Philosophy, Law, Religion, Administration. They recently found a PAINT FACTORY in South Africa, complete with evidence of chemical admixture and deep knowledge of chemistry, and the site was carbon-dated to OVER 100,000 YEARS OLD!!!! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15257259 Do you know that humanity's oldest known written records only go back 6,000 years at the most? The white race emerged only around 6 or 7,000 years ago. They are NEWCOMERS to civilisation. This video shows how Black Africans dominated the oceans for thousands of years in their ships. Do you know the Atlantic ocean was known as the Ethiopian Ocean until a few centuries ago? https://i.pinimg.com/originals/d8/70/d4/d870d4360a5d9b97939fd6e91b0594f0.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORB3y4T5pSI&t=389s |

Kemetian:My great grandfather never wrote shit... I don't know about yours How many old mathematicians do you know from your village? Do they write hieroglyphics in your village too? |
| Re: Are NIGERIANS Ancestors Of The Chinese? by Kemetian: 12:41am On Sep 01, 2024 |
illicit:African history is about far more than your village. In the days of Greece and Rome, the average European was a stark village illiterate. Doesn't mean Greece and Rome didn't exist. In the olden days, education and writing were the preserve of the elite, initiates etc. Mathematics was advanced in many parts of ancient Africa. The Mali Empire, the Ghana Empire, the Benin Kingdom, The Yoruba kingdoms. Great Zimbabwe, Ancient Egypt (which was black African in antiquity), and Nubia. Yoruba mathematics is very advanced.
