I want to upload my documents to Uni-Assist. Can I upload the scanned copies of the original certificates like degree certificates, transcripts, CV etc or I must certify them at the court before uploading to Uni-Assist?

Guys good morning ....just still part of my testimony about my visa journey. After submitting my passport and insurance certificate to the visa consulate office in UAE on 20th of August, I waited for 4-5 days before going for the visa passport collection according to their instructions in the approval email. I was surprised seeing that the visa was stamped on 21th of same August and I was waiting for 5 working days. After the collection, I immediately booked my ticket to Nigeria to spend a month with my family. Currently, I am in Delta state relaxing and planning for germany.
My personal observations during my interview or during application is that one should be able to write his SOP so you can defend it when additional interview becomes necessary like my own case. My SOP was 5 pages. I told them everything about me and some circumstances I have seen in life. It interested them to read everything and questions was asked on almost every paragraph. I never allowed them to point out those reasons that will enable them deny the visa, I brought those reasons out in my SOP and addressed them. In all, just be truthful with your application.

Please our brothers and sisters in Germany can you help with more information on student accommodation. Some guy said they got to germany before renting, please how will one do that.

** Is it faster when you are on ground.
**My budget is 400 euro ( what can that get for me)

For fintiba,
It is not thesame operations at it used to be times back. You are only allowed to deposit the total blocking amount once. And you need to show proofs of the source of fund before they allow you get your funds back. It would be good you ask recent persons that used them for blocking what they went through with their new processes. I know funding from Nigeria account to fintiba wont be possible because of the 10k usd CBN rule. This alone wont make Nigerians abke to use fintiba except the funds are in other countries without maximum limit on forex

Hi guys, I would be traveling to Hamburg to study and I would like to know if the process at the airport point of entry is similar to that of the UK. Are you asked to show documents at the airport? are there questions asked etc or do you just show the visa on your passport?

My advise to you is to go along with all your original documents. For some years now, there is a negative perception western nations have about Nigerians. For sure you may be asked questions. Some years back, I was delayed at Franz Josef Strauss International Airport Munich. The police officer that was supposed to stamp my entry date on my passport booklet said there was discrepancies in the picture in my visa page. He asked me if I used an agency to secure the visa, he requested for my admission & enrollment documents. He asked me to provide the document that was given to me at the embassy the day I went for interview that showed the amount I paid as visa processing fee. I was held for about 3hours at the port of entry and after deliberations with his colleagues and senior, my passport booklet was stamped. He asked if I have secured a place to stay and I showed him the room that was secured for me by a friend. In conclusion, it is routine to ask questions by the police at the port of entry. It is always a smooth procedure. However, it depends on the immigration officer handling your check-in. Just have your sch admission / Immatrikulation document with other proofs of your study in your back pack

They won’t reply your mail no matter how many you sent but they will definitely see it and acknowledge it I will advice you to send your important document attached to the mail like enrollment letter and updated admission letter. If you message the foreign office in Germany they won’t tell you anything either because the consulate has the overall power over your application and if you haven’t gotten AM. The embassy has not made a decision on your application yet. Best of luck to those waiting.

My university recommended me to a particular agency for accommodation which I just received email from them about the availability of one big room for 780euro. That is seriously above my budget, I need a serious person who could afford the slitting payment. 390 euro per month. The deposit is same amount too. I need someone who will be moving in first week of October 2024.
