If a church with standards build a school, are they to employ average teachers or lecturers to teach, getting a qualified teacher to teach requires huge expenses, school itself needs finance to keep running,church itself needs finance to keep running because equipment for church go need replacing if damaged,chairs,speakers etc, light bills and fuel ... if they subsidize the school fees etc for only their members, how are they to know the members, will they be able to cater it for life abi na some members and leave the rest kind of treatment... meanwhile, most of this churches have primary and secondary schools which are being subsidized and y'all don't care to know that one because e no dey news

Well...you may be right to say Adeboye's engagements are enormous.

However, owning a private jet is not really the issue here. The issue here is what happens to that private jet when it is not flying?

The norm is that the best place to keep a jet is in the air. It costs more to keep a jet on the ground than it does to keep it in the air.

So when Pastor is not flying, the church is incurring more cost.

And that is where the issue is.

For a supposedly God-ordained mission, wastage is a crucial element that needs to be curtailed with extreme prejudice.

When Jesus fed the multitude, even though he was able to provide an abundance, he still had his disciples gather the remnants "so that nothing was wasted"

Pastors should take a cue from the advice that Jethro gave to Moses to appoint trusted men to take care of other necessary things.

Are you aware that in every Redeem church all tithes and offering must be remitted back to the redemption camp. When parishes now need money or want to pay rent, they get 20% from the center after filling multiple form and letters to justify the need. The remaining 80% are paid by members.
