| Re: Debt To Petrol Suppliers Threatening Fuel Supply - NNPC by nairalanda1(m): 11:41pm On Sep 01, 2024 |
The reason why there is a debt is simple. Fuel is imported into this country at N1117 naira per liter, and the offical price at the pump is below N700. Heck even black market sells at N1000 per liter max And at the end, NNPC sustains a loss doing so, and the government...thanks to a bad economy, corruption and the fact that Nigeria is not running an economy that earns money....can\'t pay enough to cover the loss. That has been the problem for years.] But because most Nigerians still haven't left OJota, they still want cheap fuel As we can see, cracks be develop |

Moony45:Floating the Naira foolishly. . Refusal to stop importing PMS / due to personal gains and corruption. These are the core issues. This govt; hmm. The salary increase of N70,000 has choked them. . Tinubu and Buhari have made a huge mess of the country. |

Olaide1295:If it were to be processed tru a local refinery, the price will fall around N650. . By stubbornly importing,it means that some leaders are still indirectly reaping off the masses via the payment that NNPCL makes to the importers. They know the core right things to do if they truly want to make life better for the people. |
| Re: Debt To Petrol Suppliers Threatening Fuel Supply - NNPC by Basicend: 12:06am On Sep 02, 2024 |
nairalanda1:Oga, the core of the problem is making of the naira useless. The variance in real payment terms keeps getting wider as a result. The thinkless and clueless man you are trying to defend has no idea of what he has put himself into. He met naira at around #750 or so. If he had left it pegged at around that rate, the end price (landing cost) of imported pms now would still be at around N630. |

Jobbers and bigots like yarimo, helineus, madridguy and mannabbqgrill will be conspicuously absent from threads like this for obvious reasons. NNPC is a cesspit of corruption with shameless people at its helm of affairs. Of course when you talk about the glaring incompetence and padi padi corruption being facilitated by the deviant president called Tinubu, the above mentioned muppets immediately label you IPOB, unpatriotic or Shinedu. What a pathetic govt and its moronic supporters. |

So funny some still supporting tinubu as things are in this country. What a shame. At this junction, I now believe there are tinubu APC sponsors online to praise the government despite all the negativity happening which we can all see. If you believe things will still get better, y not just chill till then and let people see rather than defending the hardship and looting in governance we all are seeing and experiencing right now. So heartless people |

So it is no longer weather and rough sea in the Niger delta as stated last week as the cause of scarcity? Not mamiwater? Nigerians are asked to suffer and endure, yet new airliner private jet is bought, no money no money, then say one parastatal just blew 10b on bullet proof suv.. |

frog12:Why do you think he is kept there? Abi dont you realise he is serving a purpose furthering certain interest? Go and read atikus allegations last week. Read or watch dangotes interview a month ago when he made certain allegations. You think that government official that openly said naija must continue to import petrol, that also de-marketed dangote refinary said all he did on his own? Abi don't you see some backing somewhere gave him the morale? ![]() |

Propaganda lies of Tinubu and APC olodos that have been used since 2015 to ruin our country, after Obasanjo helped Tinubu to make Buhari president, despite knowing he was clueless about the economy? Basicend:Engaging that chap is a waste of time. His own is increase prices, increase prices. You can tell he is either benefiting from corruption or is being fed by corrupt folks. Every time prices have been increased, the problem persists, which means price increases or so called deregulation is not the problem per se. Instead of holding the government to account for its incompetence, he supports the coward way of shifting the burden of government's incompetence on the masses. |

Of Nigerians are paying for it and the difference is being paid as subsidy, why is it not being paid? This is heavy fraud that deserves jail time for Kyari, Tinubu and everyone involved including anyone supplying at inflated prices |
