PDP Youths Wing to Wike , Your Flippant Treat Can't Hold Water



Group under umbrella of Northern Youths Wing of People's Democratic Party (PDP) has blasted former River State Governor and Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike over what it termed, "unguarded utterances" and attempts to destroy the main opposition party in the country .

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory did vow to instigate problem in the states of governors who want to take over the Peoples Democratic Party structure in Rivers State.

The former Rivers State Governor, who made the threats at the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt during the party’s state congress on Saturday had warned against any attempt to interfer in the party’s affairs in the South-South state.

But in a reaction to Wike's threats,the PDP Youths Wing in a statement issued and made available to Journalists described as " Unfortunate and a slap on the face of the founders of the party; BoT, NWC and PDP Governors to allow Wike unpunished with his vulgar and unguarded utterances.

The statement signed by Hon. Ibrahim Ibrahim Ahmadu stated: "We the youths of the People's Democratic party (PDP) are watching very carefully if wike is more powerful than the party and the various PDP governors in their states. We want to also know if they are his errand boys or he's the one that installed them in power and not people of their various states."

While querying the motive behind his actions, the Youths stated: " To you Wike, you have become a Moral infection that keeps your cohorts in a State of perpetual sickness .

"No wonder Former Ebonyi Governor, Engineer Dave Umahi said he pitied his illiteracy and bad parental upbringing."

It insisted that since he has taken it upon himself to destabilise and destroy PDP which gave him the platform to attain the height he has reached in politics, we strongly advise that the party should take bold step to fire him immediately.

The statement further reads:$Wike should be ashamed of himself that at his level, he volunteered himself to be used as a hireling against the party that made him what he thinks he is today.

“He is a drowning political outcast without a platform. He went to the APC and APC rejected him, now he wants to surreptitiously fight his way back to the PDP that he sabotaged.

"We are therefore urging other stakeholders of the party, especially PDP governors to unite behind the BoT members in their genuine efforts to reposition the party for landslide victory in 2027.

"Wike should be ashamed of himself that at his level, he volunteered himself to be used as a hireling against the party that made him what he thinks he is today."

Toy with Wike at your own peril.. Like or hate the man, he is still a force to reckon with in PDP South.
Seyi Makinde is another force in PDP that'll contest for PDP Presidential ticket in 2027 and will likely emerge flag bearer. It's either GSM or Wike for PDP 2027.

Bode George with support of other SW PDP bigwigs (I believe) have passed the message to Atiku to step aside and let younger candidates emerge. Nobody from SW will vote Atiku in 2027 PDP Presidential Primaries so he shouldn't bother to run.

With the way things are going ,APC and PDP will both kick Wike of out their respective partied

Both this thread and the guy you quoted were all about his politics and influence not this BS you are talking about

His health matters should be his and his wife's worry, not yours

In the end, the average Nigerian with " thats not battling sickness" would prolly suffer more health-wise or even die before him

He was poisoned at their party secretariat but as a lucky man that he is, he survived.. I hope he recovers fully.

Wike is not the problem of PDP. PDP is just a confused party
