If so, why have many countries in Europe and Asia rejected Gates' initiatives, while only a few, such as Nigeria, have accepted them? Is it perhaps due to our gullibility as a nation?

Not really! I eat meat but I'm not crazy about it. I have actually raised chickens purely as pets. They're loyal and follow you around like dogs. One of them I had as a child would be at the kitchen door early in the morning in the middle of the 2 dogs, waiting for my mom or I to come down in the mornings. We called her "Caw-Caw".

My point is that there are truly altruistic people in this world who do things without personal gain in mind. I can't speak to Bill Gates' personal agenda, but the man has helped a lot of people world-wide.
