Truth234:
They don't need to pay. Just give him crude oil at a subsidized rate and in return have a fixed pump price.
You'll still hear that it cost over #500 to refine a litre

They don't want to patronize because all those fake FX claim they usually get using oil imports will be gone. Now we are entering the phase of naira crude sales within the country. They won't have a choice now because they must patronize by fire by force.

Now Dangote can track the sales for each of the tankers loading petrol/diesel from his refinery, na now we go know how much petrol Nigerian dey consume truly.

People who suppose to ask real question and catch the thieves on why no refinery is working in Nigeria are busy defending rubbish.

People cannot rise up and ask why the only refinery we can boast of now goes outside to get crude and export finished products due to frustration from a few who are also selling out the same crude and importing finished products.

Up till now people cannot understand that some people are behind the sufferings going on in this country.

I don't believe this is ordinary, but it shall be well.

Who can bring a good thing out of a cursed thing ? Thesame stories that I heard in my childhood are what I am still hearing after 40 years. Like it or not, Nigeria is a cursed country, the only people blessed in it are those who fear and reverence God and He will never disappoint them.
Re: Petrol Will Be Exported If Marketers Boycott Product — Dangote Refinery by mofedamijo(m): 6:54pm On Sep 03, 2024
What a lot of Nigerians do not realize is that some useless cabals do not want the refineries to work because they are making illegal money from the importation of petrol.

Dangote is ready to sell at a reasonable price, however, the cabals are fighting hard. The only reason why Dangote could even build a refinery is because he is DANGOTE.

Until these cabals are killed, PMS will still be a luxury.

Federal Government of Nigeria can stop Dangote or any person whatsoever from exporting or importing. FG can even stop the operation of the Refinery. It’s like this Aboki doesn’t know whom he is dealing with. This is Asiwaju Tinubu ooooo, not some other idiots that you have been dealing with over the decades

Make me understand the difference, if 1 buyer has 100tankers and 100buyers have 1 tankers each, isn't the sale still falls under 100tankers?
Use example of people that produce pure water

They won't sell to you if you come to buy 1bag, but if you come to buy 15bags they will sell.

Thesame for other producers
Go to coca cola factory an tell them you want to buy 1 crate of coke, they won't even listen to you

Because they would not want to deal with 100s of people disturbing the factory for just 100 crates of coke, when they can easily deal with 1 person to buy that 100 crates

If those 100 people can get 1 person to represent them for the 100 crates, they would allow it

He is right to export it if Marketers wanna boycott it but I hope that wouldnt be because he's setting unrealistic prices on his fuel like he did with Cement

Get the gist correctly, the Nigerian marketers, nnpc and other petroleum authorities are saboteurs who want the statesquo to remain, they are also jealous and call him a monopolist, if enough local crude is supplied to dangote and he refines, that should bring the price down, unlike the way he is importing crude from USA and Brazil, which will affect cost of production and in turn affects the price, assuming dangote enjoys enough local cooperation, with enough supply of local crude (in naira) and our marketers patronize him abundantly, common! we will enjoy surplus (no shipping delays), dollars will crash , inflation will drop, only few God - forasaken cabals are holding this country in the jugular with their foreign co-saboteurs and these idiots don't want change because the 100% grip is getting off them and they don't want that.
Cement is not petroleum, petroleum is what everybody needs , any change in it will affect all & sundry, so Dangote will be sensitive, even as a business man , you can't make all your gains within a few months, it should spread across the years with fair pricing, along the line, if our government are reasonable and with smooth supply of crude to dangote, they can regulate the pricing so it's bearable on people, but the bad elites some of whom are politicians and also in government wouldn't want that because of their selfish gains and be claiming what it's not and also mislead and confuse gullible ones.
Re: Petrol Will Be Exported If Marketers Boycott Product — Dangote Refinery by yinkkus: 6:59pm On Sep 04, 2024
Standing5:
Commonsensical thing to do if boycotted locally but a boycott is only possible if they getting it cheaper elsewhere and that could mean Dangote going well above intl market prices OR he refuses to leave the part of the old part of the cost component that goes to intl movement of crude/petrol in the old arrangement.
They rather buy it costly and do all the unnecessary shenanigans they go do abroad and come here and be claiming nonsense, landing cost rubbish! and heap the avoidable production cost on the populace , a bigger unit gain per liter on a single head mutiply by the population is a gain for them, but with enough local crude supply to dangote in naira and fine, ok l, marketers come and get products here abundantly, no , they wouldn't want , they prefer their old expensive & exploitative way.

Export it if NNPC and co are not ready to buy
And it's unfortunate because, we would have benefited on the long run but with a boycott, statusquo remains.

Shey we are now producing PMS locally
Dis fight between marketers, NNPC and Dangote, go too sweet.
Shey marketers where already telling Dangote how much he is to sell before production
NNPC don hijacked them.
This fight go too sweet.....
I see the marketers lossing in the long run.
Dangote himself have enough truck to distribute PMS nationwide.
Na marketers go suffer in this battle last last.
But the thing is many filling stations are under the influence of marketers, yes, Dangote may supply directly to local companies and co but i would have love them to patronize him enough, for the sake of okada, marwa, Jerry can owners and the likes, these so call marketers and any authorities against abundant and cheaper supply of petroleum products,(what we have abundantly in our soil) shall not succeed in Jesus' name amen.
Re: Petrol Will Be Exported If Marketers Boycott Product — Dangote Refinery by yinkkus: 7:21pm On Sep 04, 2024
Omoapena:
But, why is he not selling to other marketers directly, why do they have to buy from NNPC, every marketerz should be given the freewill to buy directly from dangote...
It's their evil politics of holding things under their evil control, they shall not succeed!

Flier:
They say nothing is too big to fail but I think this refinery is just too big to fail
They all need to accept dangote, infact it would be better to export
If he supplies us abundantly before thinking of export, it should be better for us and that's his primary plan but saboteurs and selfish gainers are fighting tooth and nail.
Re: Petrol Will Be Exported If Marketers Boycott Product — Dangote Refinery by yinkkus: 7:31pm On Sep 04, 2024
Minjim:
If your product is cheaper they won't have a choice.
But if it is same price with imported ones they may opt for the imported since they already have an agreement.

But it pays Nigerians for them to buy locally
With his cheaper products, if they block him or with his lack of outlets for enough local supplies , he will be forced to export even with cheaper prices because keke napep(marwa), okada or your jerrycan will not access Dangote refinery for fuel.
Re: Petrol Will Be Exported If Marketers Boycott Product — Dangote Refinery by yinkkus: 7:40pm On Sep 04, 2024
portside:
Build your petrol station across the country, sell your products there, ordinary Nigerians will buy it test it, if they are good products, everybody will fall in line to buy from dangote.
That's a wise suggestion, had it been he has filling stations at the nook and cranies of the country, then okada , marwa, Jerry can people, e.t.c can benefit directly from him, so he will now be playing the role of producer/suppliers and marketers, all these cabals will move against him, they are even calling him monopolist with what he has done already.

It still won't work. He can't be producing and distributing. He would be tagged a monopolist and would be hindered from getting crude oil in Naira. All these agreements are to ensure he at least gets enough crude oil and in naira.

Petroleum is not the same as cement, petroleum is every man business no matter how poor you are, unlike luxury items, and besides the government should supply enough crude and subsidize or regulate how price should go, petroleum will affect everybody, it has always been from history, so He will be sensitive, the only problems you should focus upon are the oil cabals who benefit from rotten situation and don't want intervention.
Is Dangote the only one selling cement?.

I wouldn't know..If the price he gives to marketer are bit reasonable, I think there won't be skyrocketed price. The birth of BUA into the industry makes it even cheaper, else it would hv been 15k per bag now.
As regards to ur last sentence, Nig government refused to refurbish nkalagu Cement industry for reasons best known to them..Ibeto was witchhunted till his business folded..
In Nigeria, polices favor who gives government quota and shares, may be.
