Exousiang01:Don't mind them, they said the boss is a bully. An idiot who preferred to stay in prison for 10 months than call his Ex Soldier father to come to his aid speaks real volume. His father is an ex Soldier. The boss withdrew the case, they said bail is N20k and the boss paid. Only to come back and say it is now N50K. That's why he ignored him. |

So many people out here supporting a thief despite corroborating evidences from both oga and thief. Nigeria does something to your psyche that makes you start reasoning or supporting thieves. It is unconscionable. Any of you supporting the thief here can employ him in your business na. Abi how una see am? |

immortalcrown:If you read through, you will discover that the report made to the police was over the missing office phone. Secondly, constantly borrowing and defaulting is a signal that the photographer is definitely gambling or into sports betting. Weekend gigs alone can make a photographer good money. Not everyone prints out pics taken with camera phones! Third, the way our country is, you must suspect anyone trying to sell a second hand item. If the person cannot prove ownership of what he is selling, do not buy. |

Pepperdemisback:Even in prison he was still playing pranks. Someone whose family could not raise N20k for bail. Or even the N50k for 10months is advising someone he should be learning from. If he knows so much he wont be poor. This is one things I have noticed about poor and ignorant Nigerians, they are so arrogant and proud. They claim to know more anyone else. Most times you see poor people advicing rich folks on how to soend their money. If you know so much you would have had your own money |

immortalcrown:I was waiting to see if he ever gave info on how he came to know the lense was stolen. Everything he said is just to justify his actions, the police should investigate properly and if any of what he said isn't true, they should sue him for unlawful detention and false allegations... |

vonlogon:The stolen phone was what landed the photographer in jail and not the lens. The employer didn't say the lens was stolen but made him write undertaken just in case there is wahala later about the lens. |

BabaHenry:Once someone is associated with the ruling party, he stories are always skewed. Someone came to you with a suspected stolen item, what you did was make him write a piece of note to save your ass in future. You didn't demand for the original purchase receipt or other tangible evidence to proof ownership rather you went ahead to use (employ) him to generate more revenue, paying paltry 70k in Abuja of all places while sustaining his life on IOU. This man is a typical Apc man, give him his flowers, he learnt from the best of crooks. |

Exousiang01:He didn't contact the family at all. No one knew his whereabouts and nobody cared to even call him. He is not on talking terms with his father. He still lied to collect the N50K from his brother to perfect the bail. The employer still gave him N20K after release. What else do they want the employer to do? The family saw the story online after his release. |

Pluto33:Lens brought them together in the first place. He came to sell the lens to the man. Later on, the guy's friend who owned the lens arrested him. Then CCTV caught him switching on and off the camera the day the items got missing. What reason do you have, switching on and off someone's surveillance camera? |

That's the path am on for a while now, just soonest twill yield fruits. Indeed working for anyone (especially private businesses) in Nigeria is akin to slavery, despite the meagre pay. This period of hike in Transport fare makes it worse. dauntless15: |

Common sense says it's impossible to send someone to jail for resigning from work through text message. Dude appears to be a potential thief. |

nuelson2016:True freedom is earning your own money with your brain, imagine waking up at 5am everyday so you can go slave for someone till 5-7pm everyday while he sleeps, eat and get fat, I didn't know what it feels like to wake up at 9am back then, now I wake up when I like and even stay in bed when I feel like, I'm not working for anyone in this life again, that's a decision only you can make, make nobody oppress you because of chicken change. |

The employer alleged that the lens he bought from the guy was stolen. I don't know at what point here discovered this. Was it shortly after buying the lense from him? Was it during his arrest after resigning? If he discovered shortly after buying it, what did he do about the stolen item under his possession? Then for the employee, I want to believe he has dubious character. The man retained him because he was good at the photography job. If the office camera was tempered by that guy, he's supposed to rot in jail. Whatever that was alleged missing from the office, he should be responsible for them. |
