The giant of Africa as no meaning or signifance ,it's even embarrassing given that Nigeria doesn't have any strong influence even in African geopolitics not to talk of the world.

Nigerians love deceiving themselves with ignorant statements like "giant of Africa", "best footballing country in Africa", "biggest economy" in Africa etc.when in actuality Nigerians are non of these.

Nigeria pulls no weight geopolitically both in Africa and the world. Egypt does,Egypt can be termed the giant of Africa.
