1. They said the SM handle anyi_anambra was fake. That no one will use such a handle and that it was selected purposely to paint the then impostor who they said was sponsored by the APC to smear Ibos.


2. A face and name was then attached to the anyi_anambra handle. Note that this same handle was active during the first tiktok session where the Oba of Benin was portrayed as a pig. It was this same anyi_anambra who we later found out was Amaka Patience Sonneberger. They claimed the anyi_ananvra handle was an impostor. One MadamVanessa that posts here regularly even falsely claimed that the anyi_anambra handle was created by a popular Yoruba dude who made videos speaking fluently in Ibo. This MadamVanessa never provided any proof to link the Yoruba guy to the original session were the oba was being desecreted. For MadamVanessa, the fact that a Yoruba guy on the internet who speaks Ibo fluently in his content videos is the prime suspect. Out of a sea of millions, MadamVanessa in their usual manner decided to frame and doxx an innocent guy all because he was Yoruba and spoke Ibo fluently and as such MadamVanessa and co decided in their usual false accusation ways pointed accusing fingers at the innocent guy. The MadamVanessa will later do another thread here offering a rebuttal to her original thread accusing the innocent Yoruba guy. She offered no apologies.

3. Even when Amaka Sonneberger was identified and her location and details revealed, they went on to say she was not a real Ibo but masquerading as such. When they traced her origins to Anambra , they changed gear and said she was paid alongside others in both two tiktok sessions to cause enimity between Ibos and Bini people over the upcoming elections. It didn't stop there, when they saw that wasn't work they switched the goal post.

4. Their latest goal post position now is that Amaka that they said never existed and was an impostor and later paid alongside others in that live sessions to smear Edo people , is now to tell us that Amaka was provocked to issue those mass murdering threats . They then claim there was another Edo guy who provocked her to issue such threats. All these are afterthoughts by the way. They now applied whataboutism and their victim card but it has failed.

5. After Amaka's arrest which they said she can never be arrested and that they will defend her with all they have , they were duly informed that such hate crimes could see to Amaka losing her citizenship.

6. We are now at the stage where the goal post is not Amaka getting convicted for her hate utterances but also losing her Canadian citizenship if she gets sentenced to the maximum 2ys prison term.

I won't lie I think all of this Amaka stuff is a storm in a teacup.

I agree with you that reading the various ways the deflection happened was not surprising but very dissapointing.

Some on here must blame others apart from the perpetuator of the "crime". And the link to the person they are blaming is so tenuous, you just wonder if they are serious or playing devil's advocate. After all. It is on Nairaland that we read people claiming President Tinubu is sponsoring Simon Ekpa to destabilise the South East.

Amaka will not see jail time but her employment opportunities will be limited moving forward. If she owns a company, she can kiss goodbye to doing business with any Canaduan governmental organisation.
