Hello good morning
Please I’m having issues changing my course on jamb portal as it is not the course I studied in school so I was told I have to change it if I want to go for NYSC. When I went to jamb office, the person there couldn’t enter my portal, as he typed my reg number, a message popped up; “visit jamb….” I really can’t remember what he rest of the message. I’m summary he couldn’t access my portal. Please what do I do or what do you think the issue could be?

Please I have a friend, she just graduated with PT program so she was told to do Regularization of which she has done that but now that she discovered error on his date of birth after the datas for Regularization has been submitted online, the date on his Regularization printout is not the same with what she have on is NIMC. She went to Jamb office direct to make correction and she was told that date of birth can not be corrected for her due to the letter “P” at the back of is reg No which means Part-Time. Unless she go to Abuja to do that.

Please kindly put us through on what to do on this,

The school asked us to submit our documents for jamb reg. (I have my jamb reg. I did it in 2015) And I have submitted it to the school . Because of the change of name, I haven't created a profile on JAMB portal yet because I was told that the name change will reflect on my NiN in about a week or so.

Sir, will it stop the school from uploading the name that I submitted to JAMB and will it be difficult for me to link the upload with the profile once I am able to do it on jamb Portal?

If yes, she can reapply for change of data (although, I learnt that they stopped to rectify date of birth)

If no, then she may have to wait until the regularization is complete. I'll tell you why.
1. Change of data is faster than regularization.
2. Some regularization comes with a new JAMB registration number. If such is her case, and she does the change of data now, when the regularization is approved, it may not reflect on the new reg. number.

Is your friend waiting for NYSC posting?

Hi, I want to know if the details on the jamb Matriculation portal is what is used in filling my details on my certificate/NYSC, I recently noticed a misspelling on my name on the jamb matriculation portal and have gone through the jamb regularisation process but our Vc is not around to sign the form, this has caused me to halt my clearance fearing that the name on the jamb MATRIC portal will reflect on my certificates.

I want to know if I can go ahead with my clearance and NYSC or continue waiting, Thank you.

I got admission in 2018 but due to finances I had to defer my admission. I want to do jamb regularization because the course I studied is different from the one jamb gave me.
Does jamb regularization have a time limit?

For example full middle name: IGBEREASE on Jamb middle name: I

Say, the name on my nin and statement of result is Mark David Solomon.

But the name on Jamb is Mark David S.

So I want to change the S to Solomon on Jamb. I couldn't create an account on nysc portal, and I'm hoping to do all it takes before stream 2 in April

My name is spelled in full as
George Igberaese Okosun on all my credentials, including WAEC, NIN, and school documents, as well as on the senate list. However, on my JAMB registration, my middle name is abbreviated to "I," so it appears as George I Okosun. Will this cause an issue when registering for NYSC? What would you advise I do about this? Thank you.

Hi. I did my jamb regularization around July this year, but I have issues which might affect my NYSC.
My school result is carrying two names, while my jamb is carrying 3
I already did my jamb regularization but I haven’t submitted it to my school admission office yet, please when is the best time to go for corrections of name in jamb office?
I’m confused, please help.

Gooday please I wrote jamb in 2020 i chose uniuyo and they gave me admission on my jamb caps,but I didn't accept the admission, because I have already gotten admission and paid school fees in a private university, right now I don't have Admission letter i was asked to do jamb regularization ,what are the process in doing jamb regularization.thanks

Greetings George,
When registering for NYSC (both cyber cafe and at camp) use your full name.

SamuelLoch:
Okay. You have to act fast before your school submits your name for NYSC. NYSC does not support abbreviation of names. If you manage to enter camp, the chance of NYSC disturbing you towards the end of NYSC is near 100%.
NYSC supports changing the rearrangement of your names easily, but it will stress you if you want to remove or add a name.
E.g. John Hussain Aminu can easily be changed to Hussain John Aminu or whatever rearrangement.

John Hussain to Hussain John Aminu will stress you.
So, work on it now before NYSC comes knocking. If you can't apply online, go to a JAMB center.
