There is no everlasting punishment and torment for the unbeliever. ✝ Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." KJV Bible God is a loving God and it is against His nature to punish people in conscious torment forever. God will definitely destroy completely and to the uttermost all those who does not have His Holy Spirit within them. It is something God will do with tears in His heart, because He love them still and wished they were saved. Man and Angels are not eternal. Our soul is not eternal and can be completely obliterated. The devil and his angels are not eternal and can be also destroyed completely. Only God is eternal and those whom He will give it to in Christ Jesus. Satan will be completely destroyed and will be no more. God even gave us a clue about how he will be obliterated out of existence. ✝ Ezekiel 28:18 "Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee." KJV Bible For elaborate context read from Ezekiel 28:12-19 Through prophet Ezekiel God prophecy about Satan ultimate destruction. From his midst will fire come out to destroy him and his chapter will be closed and forgotten. Same with all the fallen angels as well. No creature will be punished consciously forever and ever. It is total madness to think that God who we claim is loving and merciful will punish offenders whom He went to a great length to save through enduring unimaginable pain, will now delight in watching them burn forever. The Devil sold this idea of eternal punishment through ignorance and mis representation to paint God in a certain light. The idea of eternal conscious torment for Satan and his fallen comrades and also for unbelievers is repulsive and mind numbing. I most confess he did a very good job... The thought of eternal hell and conscious torment forever has done more harm than good.✝ John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." KJV Bible The famous verse says the destiny of those who don't believe is perishing. Some synonym for perish is cease, vanish, disappear etc. Perish here is the Greek word "Apollumi", this word can also be defined as puting out of the way entirely, abolish. ✝ Malachi 4:1 "For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch." KJV Bible God is saying they(the wicked) who has refused Christ Jesus will be burnt up. The fire shall utterly consume them up. The fire will keep on burning until everything and everyone is consumed up with no trace of existence.✝ Malachi 4:3 "And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts." KJV Bible This is Jesus speaking here. They shall be ashes. They will not burn forever in conscious pain and agony. It will be barbaric and against the nature of God. ✝ Isaiah 65:17 "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." KJV Bible God will surely create a new heavens and earth: but the striking thing here is that the former things shall not be remembered. Ask yourself if unbelievers, Satan and his fallen demons will burn and be tormented forever won't they be remembered? Where will be the location of the lake of fire 🔥 burning eternally? Will it be inside the new heaven or the new earth? If it will be, won't it be a source of remembrance to the righteous in Christ Jesus who have been saved? Let the deception end. There is upcoming destruction for the wicked who reject the work of God in Christ Jesus, but not eternally. |

Youareforgiven:✝ Jude 1:7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." KJV Bible Sodom and Gomorrah is an example to what will happen to the ungodly on the last day. they will be burnt up and turn to ashes. If Sodom and Gomorrah is an example, then one may ask is Sodom and Gomorrah still burning up till now? ✝ 2 Peter 2:6 "And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;" KJV Bible Just like Sodom and Gomorrah who is an example of the last judgment of God on the ungodly was burnt up to ashes so likewise on last day unbelievers will be burnt up and turn to ashes never to exist anymore. ✝ Genesis 19:24 "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;" KJV Bible |

StillDtruth:Everlasting punishment means everlasting death. Perishing, consumed, vanquished, never to be seen or remember. For the Satan and unbelievers to be punished consciously for eternity will only mean one thing, it means they have eternal life... It means they are like God who lives forever. Now answer me does Angels have eternal life like God? Are angels uncreated like God? |
| Re: There is no everlasting punishment and torment for unbelievers by StillDtruth: 11:48am On Sep 06, 2024 |
Youareforgiven:Satan already shows you that he had eternal life. Daniel 12:2 shows you man's own And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. So, no issue here. |

MaxInDHouse:You are agreeing with me on this, do you also agree with me that Jesus Christ is Yahweh of the old testament. Jesus Christ was God in flesh... For your own good, you should. |

MaxInDHouse:✝ John 8:58 "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." KJV Bible✝ Exodus 3:14 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." KJV Bible Jesus clearly said here He was the I AM that sent Moses to Egypt. They knew what Jesus was talking about that is why they reacted the way they did. ✝ John 8:59 "Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by." KJV Bible They wanted to stone Jesus Christ for blasphemy as the Law of Moses stipulated ✝ Leviticus 24:16 "And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death." KJV Bible They wanted to stone the One who gave them the Law, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob because. Jesus certainly disappeared/hid because it was not written that He will die by stoning. |

StillDtruth:✝ Isaiah 34:9 "And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch." KJV Bible ✝ Isaiah 34:10 "It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up forever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it forever and ever." KJV Bible What say you about this prophecy by Isaiah about Edom? Is smoke of their destruction still going up today? If not, why? I thought God said it shall not be quench and the smoke from the ruins will go up forever? |

Youareforgiven:The screenshot evidence is saying something different found In your own Bible, Genesis 16:7 Isaiah 6:8 & Psalm 103:20. Yahweh can NOT be the first born, angel (Jesus) who OBEYS Yahweh, his Father.John 7:16.

Janosky:I will not drag the Lordship Or Godnes of Jesus Christ with you after this. Jesus Christ as many titles and name. He is the messenger or angel of God✝ Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts." KJV Bible Mk✝ John 8:18 "I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me." KJV Bible Jesus Christ was an Angel of the Father... Sent to do what no one could do except God. I see nothing on the screen shot |

Youareforgiven:So it's the use of translation that makes you feel Jesus of Nazareth is Yahweh? Well the phrase translated "I am that i am" has different interpretations so Jesus is not Yahweh! ![]() |

MaxInDHouse:✝ Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts." KJV Bible ✝ Malachi 4:5 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: " KJV Bible I have seen your resent post about John the Baptist... Who sent John the Baptist? Was John the Baptist sent by God? Malachi 3:1 is crystal clear that the person coming after John the Baptist is the Lord himself. Their God whom they seek and worship was the one coming. This is not me starting a back and forth argument with you. |
| Re: There is no everlasting punishment and torment for unbelievers by MaxInDHouse(m): 7:29am On Sep 07, 2024 |
Youareforgiven:Jesus came to represent the Almighty God that is why God said He is the one coming. When God said He is going to Egypt to deliver the Israelites who did Pharaoh and the people see? Was it God Almighty? NO! It was Moses who stood before Pharaoh as GOD while Aaron stood as his prophet {Exodus 7:1} would you say Moses is Jehovah since he represented Jehovah? Again Moses told the Israelites that God will send another prophet like Moses to the Israelites {Deuteronomy 18:18-19} apostle Peter confirmed that Jesus is that prophet who came in the manner of Moses {Act 3:22-26} just as Moses served as GOD in his time {Exodus 7:1} Jesus of Nazareth also served as GOD in his time! John 1:1 God Almighty has never referred to Himself as servant because He was never sent on any errand unlike Jesus who was sent by someone GREATER than him! John 3:16; 14:28 |

Whatever you choose to believe... Just make sure you are saved. You don't want to open your eyes in regret. Remember man has eternal soul which God breathe into the flesh. Don't joke with this God is love, but also a consuming fire |

MaxInDHouse:✝ Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts." KJV Bible And the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to HIS TEMPLE. My sincere question to you is who owns the temple built in Jerusalem? Is it Yahweh or Jehovah how you people choose to call Him? Jesus Christ whom you have just confirmed that is Lord is saying the temple you people built for your Yahweh is mine. This Lord who is coming is saying I own this temple that your father's worshipped in. I am the God of this temple. You really don't know God. God can be whatever he wants to be. He proved that by coming in the flesh in Jesus Christ. |

obonujoker:The soul is not eternal✝ Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." KJV Bible The soul can be destroyed by God. Only God is eternal and those whom He has begotten in Christ Jesus. |

| Re: There is no everlasting punishment and torment for unbelievers by Youareforgiven(op): 2:03pm On Sep 07, 2024 |
MaxInDHouse:He was crying to his Father... God the Son was crying to his Father. ✝ Hebrews 5:8 "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;" KJV Bible Do you have a problem with God having a Son? Do you have any problem with your Creator having a Son? Huh |
