Can someone share his or her experience travelling out to a country where he or she does not have a family or friend

best way to travel...it brings the best out of you; it allows you to discover a place fully by immersing in the new country 110%; it makes you stronger/wiser about the place and helps you get out of your shell and pushes you to meet and discover new people. it takes you out of your comfort zone which will greatly help for your new life.

IMHO there is no better way to travel but to go to an unknown country where you know no one and dont speak the language!

It could be a good thing like you highlighted, but could also be potentially dangerous. Let's say a foreigner visits Nigeria without knowing anyone. They may be taking a lot of risks they're completely oblivious of, like traveling to some potentially dangerous cities or neighborhoods, going to the wrong parties, visiting the wrong people and getting caught in the middle of their crimes, mingling with the wrong people in the name of trying to make friends etc. Depending on the person's age, some mistakes are difficult or impossible to fix, like going to jail, getting scammed of life savings, getting lured into some trafficking or drug related crime or addiction, getting kidnapped or even murdered.

In summary, it has potential good and bad depending on the destination and other factors that should be carefully considered before making such a decision

as much as you should learn a little about the country, before you get there, you need to understand that in this world, you have to make your own mind, follow your own path, write your own history AND take chances....and if you only believe the negativity you read, then you might as well stay in your bedroom and lock yourself up, because there will be some negative stuff written about EVERY SINGLE PLACE ON EARTH... you would say:" i wanna go to Paris, NY. Sydney or Tokyo, and someone out there will tell you that its dangerous bla bla bla, its bad bla bla bla, dont go there bla bla bla. at the end of the day, do what makes you happy in your life because nobody else is gonna live "your" life.

BTW there are plenty of people who go to Nigeria with an open mind, discover the country fully from east to west/south and nothing ever happened to them....so as much as people should be careful in life (everywhere), it certainly shouldnt be a reason to stop going ANYWHERE in this world.

Hello! I travel a lot and I really like it, I plan to visit Miami since I have never been there before. I found a company whose services I want to use www.clicktraveltips.com because there are only positive reviews about it. Choosing a holiday destination isn't always easy. After all, there are so many amazing locations around the world to pick between and not enough time to see them all! Even within the US, there are all sorts of wonderful places you can go. From the bright lights of Las Vegas to the natural beauty of the Rockies, there's a place to suit every type of traveler. One city that should definitely be on your list of destinations to visit is Miami, Florida.

If you are waiting to travel to where you know somebody you may end up not going anywhere.

Even if you know someone at your intended destination, just plan as if you know nobody there because they may not even have your time.

Arriving in Hungary on the 2nd of September not knowing anyone was just the beginning of my motivation. Arrived at the airport, pass through the immigration and went to pick up my luggage, as I was existing to the outside country I felt a tense but due to the fact I have been outside before without having anyone to pick me up at the airport, I gather courage ask few locals about my destination, change my first 100 dollar bill at the airport which was very low, but I did it to have a little of the local currency. When I was looking out for direction I saw few African people some 9ja I initiated a communication and then boom I got my first shared taxi ride with 2 other young chaps, the cab was pretty expensive for one person so we all shared it and eventually got to our destination where I will board a train going to my final destination.
I got few tips about the trrain service from the help of the 9ja guys already in the country taking the other two young chap to another city. I alone took the train down to my final destination, remember I got no sim card yet and no Internet except on the train. Alighting from the train I couldn't locate my apartment. With my luggage I was nearly stranded in this town but then again I summon courage and asked a young white guy in a high school uniform and showed him my address, he spoke in magyar but then again I couldn't understand he was actually telling the right way. I moved on with my heavy luggage and got to meet another young chap in a high school uniform and I politely ask him for a Google map. He Speak a little English and told me to follow him in a bit he stopped, yes later I understand that he can't walk me down all there because ita 10mins walk. He book a vip taxi ASAP for me and told me to stand by a stop. When speaking with the cab lady I understood when he said something about a man waiting and I smiled and knew my salvation have come. In all I was taking to the apartment. Later that day I stroll out the town again and walk about 25km miles trying to find the routes and boom I meet a Sudanese guy working in a medical centre, he was so happy to see me and with my skin color he even invited me to his office to check it out. So it's good to walk in the life alone to bring out the human in you. You came into this world not knowing where u were until u grew older and we all die someday not knowing where we were laid to rest. Move out now and never allow anything stop your life from moving forward.

I thought you had a property in Agungi and Osapa London? You also have an Ethiopian permanent residency? Then you moved to Hungary? I hope you did not sell those properties at Agungi and Osapa London just to obtain a student visa to study in Hungary?

Sha, good luck in your expeditions.
Hungary? Jesus of Lord shocked huh

A little advice from me, avoid anyone in high school uniforms both male and female. From your writeup, they seem like the easiest ones to approach, however, they are jail bait. This is not naija.

I guess you are too myopic.
I'm not a Pheodophile, asking for directions with luggage is not against the law. Besides in every corner of the streets is a watchful eyes. CCTV.
This is Hungary not U.K, even teens here can get along with adults cos there consent is 14years and above. What you see here is not U.K, its hungary and they no send your papa black nyash.
U.K is overrated with black immigrants and black citizens but here it's at the bare minimal.
They see you as alien here but in U.k everyone get along with rubbish and sewage.

Your wish is your journey to jail bastard.
Ode they dey advise you now you dey rant. So you sold your properties to move to Hungary grin grin grin. Oh dios mío grin grin grin
