If you are opportuned to fly a helicopter around the city center, what you will see, will leave you dumfounded

Owerri has no rocks/mountains like some cities in Nigeria, but have strategic areas look like the Nose of an Aeroplane

Areas like :
Douglas house junction
concord/musa yaradua bypasses
Imsu junction
Inland road bypasses
Hospital junction
Evan ewerem
FMC / Nworie river axis

Simply put; Owerri is a beautiful city enhanced by man and a natural masterpiece

When you fly around this area, you will see a perfect shape of an aircraft as it bends towards concord extension

IMO is the second largest economy in Nigeria according to world Bank

See if IMO finally get a governor eeh ( because we haven't gotten one since 1999) ... Not even Abuja would compete with owerri

No pictures. Governors of imo state concentrate more on Owerri. Other cities should be developed as well.

Imo people should be more worried about getting all her deu allocations from both oil and now gas, that are being piped underground and credited to neighbouring south south states by the federal forces. If imo state gets what is deu to her from these, she will be by far the richest state in this country.
