You know you are lying

They are voting not based on race

You can't even get some jobs if you are not white

You can not even contest for election in some area in Europe if you are not white

stop deceiving us

Or you think we do not see the recent riot in England

The abuses on black people and the discrimination

so what competency are you talking about?
So he was never elected into any office in Ireland by Irish people?

Are u alright at all?

How did he get to parliament?

And who is talking about igbo people before quoting me with your tribal worries and igbo headache?

Is the topic even about Nigerian reserves or politics in Ireland?

You've registered your igbo worries and I'm not interested, stay on topic.
Did you see me talk about igbos in my last comment or you just want to demonstrate foolishness here?

You quoted me to show off and bother me that Igbo people are also in elected positions in Ireland even though I didn't mention Igbo people and I did not say anything about Igbo people in Ireland.

This is the problem with you low self esteem bigots, every post or comments with nothing to do with you triggers you tribally and you must respond to shout igbo this and that.

Please stop bothering me with your igbo supremacy tribal wahala, I want intelligent and stimulating conversations.

Let me first first commend your historical knowledge.

But you forgot to mention who went to jail for Zik or who was willing to die for him. You also know that Eyo Ita was expected to become the Premier at the state at regional level because Zik was a Federal officer looking for Premiership in the West. Zik failed to form a majority because Ibadan People Party split for Awo whose Party could have formed Minority Government anyway.

Yet, it was mischaracterized that Awo "rigged" the votes. The problem is this RIG whenever you failed to get your way has been with you forever.

Imagine that despite the fact that Obi won in Lagos, by Yoruba majority voters, instead of commending their spirits you cursed them. Especially cursing from people who voted 95% for Obi in their state.

Who are you pointing the finger of tribalism to? The same people that voted for your son. These are not the Igbo we used to know in Lagos or Yorubaland. But this is where we are today.

Realtruth2023:
Dude stop these lies. Eyo Ita was deputy Premier he was never Premier of Eastern region. What happened was following the death of Mbonu Ojike, there was an investigation into allegations of Financial misconduct levelled against Zik now Eyo Ita, Mbadiwe and some other NCNC people organised to take power from Zik. They wanted the Eastern house of Assembly to pass a vote of no confidence against Zik. But in a twist of events, the House passed a vote of confidence on Zik. Following this Zik demanded the resignation of all those in his cabinet who moved against him and tried to get him removed. Eyo Ita was one of them and so was Mbadiwe. So you guys should stop spreading these lies

I get it

But to be honest, do you think any White man can win election in Nigeria of today (even as a Nigerian citizen)?
If No, then there's no need for them to contest and waste funds.

There was one who tried to attempt it, but the reactions weren't favourable, I guess
No, he lost because he wasn't in the top party, also have you forgotten a white man became the president of zambia

Your region has been winning and below , as evident from the following scorecard:

- The poorest region
- The region with the highest illiteracy rate
- The region with a high disease rate (Polio, meningitis)
- The region with the highest number of out-of-school children
- The region ravaged by banditry.

You are truly a winner.

Those asking you to go back home to develop your region are only telling you the sensible thing any tribe should think of doing considering the fact that Nigeria was created one day, based on agreement reached by men that are now late and the country can split once the agreement is no longer binding..

Yorubas are developing Yorubaland.

Hausas are developing their lands.

It's only you Igbos that flee your lands in droves to be settling in other places, claiming One Nigeria gave you right to do so.

What if there is no 'One Nigeria' tomorrow (just assuming).. Your life will now hang on the balance and you'll start running helter skelter when Yorubas or Hausas ask you to vacate their territory.
You Igbos know you are taking serious risk by leaving your home region undeveloped but you still want to take the risk and hope things don't go the way of 1967.
Take your bitter pills silently and shut the hell up.

Adenuga should come home and develop Ogbomosho and not Ireland. Simple

Have you tried to contest? and you were not given chance?
You guys are always crying on this rhetorics from your comfort zone.
Those Yoruba that holds different political offices abroad, did they contest for those offices from ogbomosho?
No!
Most of them were born there, some had based there over decades and started participating in the country's electioneering process.
Adenuga Yemisi is contesting for that office from Nigeria,, right?
You must come and base in igbo land for some years, integrate into their system before you can start contesting for election there.
You guys should stop crying like illiterates.
is that why akeredolu's wife was chased out by thugs and ojukwu's wife wasn't given a chance to run for senate?

But what is even more sickening is the Yoruba and fulani/ Hausa telling the Igbos to go back to their region In the same country called Nigeria.
Allow the Igbos go, you say no. Allow them stay in a free environment, you say no.

The Op is a clown. And some of those comments I can bet are from Nigerians just using foreign names and pictures. It's a pity the hate back home is carried on outside the country. She might be an Igbo loving Yoruba but OP being a tribalist does not care but angry and bitter about the way the Igbos were treated in the last election in Lagos. Not everyone in Lagos hates Igbos or wants Igbos to leave . Just a small minority who are mainly paid for politics
That is not true, please. The elites backed the narrative wholeheartedly. You cannot blame OP when we have the likes of Bayo Onanuga and the SA on Media to the LASG dishing out tribal bigotry. It is good the world sees Nigerians for who they are. As for the commentators, they are Irish. Modern day Irish don't want foreigners to govern them, and that is very fine.

For those seeking refuge in foreign lands, it's essential to remember that you, your children, and grandchildren may still encounter challenges. In situations like these, you might even be asked to return to Nigeria—the shithole you once japa from. Leaving Nigeria, or "Japa," might not be beneficial for you and future generations, as you may face rejection and racism in other countries. It's crucial to understand that escaping Nigeria doesn't necessarily mean you've left it behind entirely. Nigeria is a part of your identity; it is your shadow and will follow you wherever you go. The condition of your country often determines how you'll be treated in your host countries. No one would treat Americans, the English, or other nationalities the way Nigerians are often treated. Therefore, it's in our best interest to collaborate and contribute to Nigeria's development during our lifetimes. By doing so, we can help ensure that Nigerians living abroad won't have to experience such embarrassing situations.
Peace!
End Of Discussion.

Ndi and Awon I am English and African American when their papa and mama did not enter ship. Even African Americans don't want black Africans to govern them.

As you rightly said, "What goes around, comes around." How can a Nigerian go to another man's country and want to be elected into office? Is she Irish? Ireland is for the Irish people. So, NO Nigerian (especially if you believe that NO other person should come to your place and hold any governmental position or even buy a property) should go to a foreign country and run for office or own a property. She should go back and run for office and develop her place. I hope this serves as a lesson for those in the habit of telling others to go home and develop their area.

What happened in Lagos during the last elections is even far worse than this.Even she is an Irish citizen by naturalisation, she obviously came in as an immigrant. In Lagos,Nigerian citizens were stopped from voting because they are Igbos. These are people who have no allegiance to any other country and who live and pay taxes in Lagos. Nigeria is deeply divided, we are not one.

Funny enough, this woman is a political force in her constituency, she's already a counselor, the head or of a Major school board, leader of an advocacy group, the Irish love her and regardless of the racist fascists ranting on the Internet, she's winning this contest.

You are not talking about the audacity some certain people have to be telling a particular people that their land is no man's land! At least she didn't do that there. And the results of the election is not out yet.
