PORT HARCOURT BELONGS TO THE IGBOS
The then West African Court of Appeal (WACA) judgement in the case between IKWERRE VS. OKRIKA in 1958 bordering on the status of Port Harcourt settled it.
WACA decided that Port Harcourt belongs to the Igbos. There was no appeal till date.
When Elechi Amadi was confronted with the WACA judgement by Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Counsel, he affirmed it and it was admitted in evidence.
His only remark was that "the Ikwerre people involved their wealthy Igbo brothers in litigation, fought for Port Harcourt under the shadow of their rich brothers against Okrika people and consequently, the court so ruled.
When asked whether he appealed against that judgement, he said NO.
That Port Harcourt is an Igbo city was a judgement of a superior court that has not been vacated.
The original inhabitants of Obigbo were mostly from Ngwa, Arochukwu and Owerri.
Legally, traditionally and Originally Igweocha or Iguacha(Portharcourt) is Igbo land.

Work is ongoing for the transport sector. The Abuja rail is in service and groundwork for expansion to cover more routes is ongoing, bus stations are under construction, roads and bridges are being constructed to shorten distances, create access to remote areas . What else are you asking for if you are not a mischief maker?

Olodo, the military decree that created Rivers State did not invalidate the West African Court of Appeal judgement that recognized PH as part of Igbo territory. The Aniomas are fallen in line now, ditto Igboids of Rivers State and other fringes that we have in Akwa IBOM, Cross River, Bayelsa, Edo, Kogi & Benue states. We move, none will be left behind, we know our boundaries with Ijaws in Rivers State

Let us agree without conceding, the alternative for Ikwerres is to be lumped to the new Niger-Delta that the Ijaws will be the new overlord. Not that we need Ikwerre for anything though, but we are not abandoning our territories for the IJAWS

FYI Akwa-Cross will form a region, distinct from the rest of the ND and in Jnauray next year, one of the illustrious sons of Ikwerre will be made the OHANEZE president
