So guys i often wonder is it OK to love wifey more than our mom. like can a man put his wife first before his mom?

a neighbor of mine sent his mom away all because she had altercation with the wife and told the wife to leave her son and set him free from her juju ,

i wanted to put mouth but don't want to insert my self in family matter . nothing will make me send my mom away like that though .

so guys would you do it?

Y'all need to understand emotional intelligence and boundaries

Love for mother is different from love for wife

Ur mother was married into the home by ur father, same way u married a lady as a wife into ur home

Mostly - wife and mother will not give a man any issues if there is respect for boundaries.

U cannot love one more than the other. They are seperate and the feelings n emotions dey breed are different. If u don't love ur wife enuff, ur kids will feel it. U cannot unlove ur mother too.

The love you have for your mom is totally different from the kind you have for your wife.

Your wife is more of a sexual love. You want to touch her, hug her, kiss her, gist, go out... Etc.

While that of your mom is more like a parent-child kind of love. You chech up on her, ask after her health, hear her gists from the latest happenings in the family and the village... Etc.

They're not the same and therfore should not be compared. Comparing them is like comparing a striker and a defender. But don't play the same wing so it's pointless.

the love a man has for his mother is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the love he has for his wife... your mum's love is unconditional whether she is a good/great/useless mother (same with siblings) while the love for a spouse is a conscious decision to love someone. these are two different type of love and shouldnt be compared. a smart person will simply look at whats best for whom at each and every issues... and certainly not use LOVE to determine anything between these two.
