Great point you have up there. If I had 900k to enrol a 3yr old in a school that would still write 'book' instead of 'books' on their bill, I'd rather take your suggestion and be a blessing to those 3 or 4 tutors and pay them 100k each, and then, just as you say, I'll begin to lobby friends to bring their kids as well. Sense will not kill us abeg!

I don't blame them much, I blame the SENSELESS and wasteful parents.

Like what will a toddler go to school to learn to deserve such ridiculous fees ?

WORST OF ALL IS THAT THE TEACHERS IN THOSE SCHOOLS WILL BE PAID MEAGRE SALARIES.
SOME WILL NOT EVEN SEE UP TO 80K

It's just a place to keep kids busy while the parents are at work. Since women have been brought into the workforce and the man will not take care of the kids and there is no family or community to look after the child again, some people have found a business to sell. Nigeria used to have 6-3-3-4 and you see that minister saying only 18 yos must write JAMB. It's because we don't have a national policy we enforce where every kid must enter school at 4 years old or whatever age we decide. We copy from everywhere. ONE time, we copy from Europe, other times we copy from U.S. in Europe, they give both parents paid leave to take care of their children, in U.S. you are OYO. that's what we copied. Women are not given enough time to take care of their kids so they need to put their children in a placee where there will be 'care' for the day. cry

Child starts struggling with life living and growing up with strangers and we now want tht child to bond with the parents when it is too late and no breast milk fit bring am back
