Magodo is Ikoyi on the mainland, only second to Ikeja GRA. NO NEIGHBORHOOD on the mainland is as quiet, pleasant, organized and as coveted as it is save GRA Ikeja.

Gbagada is only good for its open access. It is nothing special and parts of it are shanties (Ifako/ Deeper Life) - just a few areas are cool (Corona School axis).

Suru-City is for real men and real people with the spice of life, fun, danger, gangsters, hoes, great food, and great hangouts.

If you are a working class dude, gbagada is ok for you. It has easy access to both island and Ikeja.

Surulere is the best and more secure and easy access to the island and anywhere else.... Ask around... Trek able if you have no money or ven then island is on locked down coz of traffic. Choose wisely, choose Lere... In your best interest.

Crappy talks from people who don't have any idea about Lagos at all...Surulere is bigger than Magodo and Gbagada join together time 3,in Surulere you have to Good ,the ,bad and the Ugly,Magodo and Gbagada estate,let's be specific when mentioning areas are different from ketu alapere which some part of Magodo if you no sabi is part of,same goes with Gbagada estate too,you have the Gbagada itself with shomolu,mende etc , Surulere is freaking big ,from yaba to Aguda coker is Surulere,plus iganmu,Eric Moore,games village,there are alot of estates in Surulere if you want peace and quiet,if you are a fun seeker..no where beats Surulere in Lagos ..and it's the center of Lagos .. Gbagada and Magodo will do you well if all you seek is to and fro to island and Ikeja,those two are closer to Ikeja and with 3rd mainland,it's just a 15 mins drive on the bridge..no hold up ooo .but Surulere to island depending on the time ,you might use 6 hours to get to island or same to get to Ikeja,also you might use just 20mins to get to island and to Ikeja, depending on the time of the day and the traffic you facing.

Why haven't you considered Yaba?? Easy access to both the island and Ikeja

U can't compare magodo with gbagada and u can't compare gbagada with surulere......ogudu GRA is another good environment like magodo and it links ikeja and island just like gbagada..........all depends on ur budget but for me surulere comes last on that list

Just stay away from flood prone area oh!

Magodo Phase 2 is better than Surulere and Gbagada combined and multiplied by 24

How is gbagada center of everywhere?
Both have same traffic issues if you're driving and transport.
I will suggest surulere is more closer to island and Ikeja. More or less lead to everywhere in Lagos.

It’s centrally placed between the island and mainland (it’s actually the bridge).
It doesn’t sleep and their are very young rich guys there

If you are the one who hussle between the island and the mainland, chose the central, which is gbagada, ot is central. So you can always easily navigate to the island and mainland at ease...

They have regular supply of electricity in these 3 areas, but their rent there are also expensive...

How much fit be nice 2 bedroom flat in Gbagada?, what's the price range?
