Tinubu’s Inevitable Policies Have Increased Hardship – APC Chieftain, Felix Mork by Antoeni(op): 10:28pm On Sep 10, 2024
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has admitted that the policies initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have increased economic hardship in the country.

APC National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, stated this in a statement while replying to a former national vice chairman (North West) of the party, Salihu Mohammed Lukman.

Lukman had accused the APC of failing Nigerians, adding that both former President Muhammadu Buhari and incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have failed to deliver on their campaign promises.

Lukman also asked opposition leaders to unite and work hard to defeat the APC led government in 2027.

But reacting, Morka in a statement on Tuesday argued that President Tinubu was taking bold measures to reset the country’s “long broken economy”, explaining that his reforms have increased economic hardship in the country.

The statement reads in parts, “The APC-led administration of President Tinubu is taking bold measures to reset our country’s long broken economy, improve national security and restore the country to wholesome and sustainable development.

“No doubt, these inevitable reforms have increased economic hardship for our people. In fact, the unwillingness of previous administrations to undertake these reforms and tackle the problems at their roots is the reason the economy has remained in the doldrums for a long time.”

I heard that Soyinka is not yet aware that a liter of fuel is now N1,250

I know he would never take such nonsense. Because I remember when he protested heavily against fuel price at N85 per liter

I pray he doesn't find out that Tinubu is now selling fuel at N1,250 per liter.

The jigsaw puzzle surrounding the quantity of petrol, otherwise called Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Nigeria consumes daily just got more puzzling as Sunday Vanguard understands that the figure went down to about 30 million litres per day after President Bola Tinubu’s ”subsidy is gone” statement of May 29, 2023, only to dramatically return to more than 60 million litres presently

You guys since 2015 have failed woefully to properly manage the economy because of your destabilising insatiable greed 😡. Even average performance you cannot deliver.

We are not asking you to improve it, just manage it efficiently by keeping it stable in equilibrium. Just let it be. Keep things the way they are, were. The way you met it.

Had it been you didn't do anything (making that declaration) on may 2023, or worse still only implemented one of either floating naira (naira devaluation) or subsidy removal instead of the two at once, maybe by now we may have been better off and the economy might have been moving in leaps and bounds

Oga Shut up and stop deceiving yourself. Inevitable reforms indeed. Reform in spending tax payers money lavishly and surrounding himself with all manner of corrupt and incompetent persons ,right?
You said the previous government was unwilling, but this same Tinubu came out to protested against Jonathan when he removed subsidy ,and he wasn’t accused of treason. But today when citizens try to protest peacefully, same reformers will hijack it,and give it a name,so they can arrest citizens and jail them unjustly.. Reform indeed..

The pdp you guys unseated with all forms of propaganda, wasn’t this bad in comparison to what we have today in government ... Even Apc and Tinubu knows this fact. It's only people like you ,who probably gains directly or indirectly from the fraud system, that says otherwise..
