Any country that has many players in their national team, playing in premier league, can never win anything. Example is Brazil. Since they now using premier league players much in their squared, things has been hard for them big time. Just have them like two or four in ur entire squared, is ok. Brazil president should ban them not to play in premier league again.

He didn't want NFF to be the first to announce his disengagement after the disastrous draw in Rwanda. Someone that has been out of any known job for some years. Resigning is alien to our culture and standards here.

Nigerians should stop recycling these old people that doesn't have anything to offer... We have Nigerian young coaches abroad coaching U21s who are aged 35-45 years why not bring them in and give it a try.... Must we be parading the likes of amuneke siasia and ogunefon am tired honestly... Nigeria lacks an attacking midfielder at the moment ans we need a system based football... Obviously we know how bad football has been for some years and how it has affected the no 10 role... So we need a new approach to the game... Ogunefon tried but we knew he won't last long if they even give him the job... Bring a young manager in... I no wan see any Felix magath or Bruno Labbadia for Nigeria all those coaches that football has left them I no wan see them...

Austin Eguavoen is currently the Technical Director of the NFF. His job can be said to be bigger and more important than coach of the Super Eagles because his office oversees all the national football teams; both male and female. All the coaches of Nigeria's national teams report to the Technical Director.

The decision to step in as interim coach of the Super Eagles was for two games and the mandate has been completed. He will continue his job as NFF Technical Director.

Once upon a time we had a league and people went to the stadium to watch football every weekend
These days every one thinks they know anything and everything about fo9tball because they watch the Premiership
Coaching is a non issue in Nigerian football
We need a league and we need maybe 10 years to focus on that and forget about international football

It's alright, you are right. However, why turning the search for Nigerian coach to 'Baba Ijebu' lottery. Are they not even confusing the players ? I think it is about time we get serious with our football.

He was just their as interim, never the coach in the first place. I think NFF should give him the job , he has done very well with the 2 games. The team really improved.

I agree with you. That's why serious international coaches or technical advisers reject coaching the super eagles. NFF is too emotional.

Why not give him time? They started strong. Remember they scored a goal in Rwanda which was disallowed.

Who watched the match. It was one of the best match I had watched from the super eagles. That goal they disallowed need to be investigated by CAF. They robbed our team.
