I really don't know how some of us see things but for me, I can never dwell on the decisions of people with differing opinions...

People made their choice just as you made yours, quit trying to rub it in...You are not God and can't say for certain how things would've turned should your preferred candidate had won...It may be banter to you but not at this point, I actually feel sorry for people who are struggling...
Yes nau. Because good governance is a spiritual exercise. grin

Maybe because I neva japa sha, na why I still get hope and I want to imagine for many resident in the country, there's still that little hope that things turn the corner...after all barely 10 years ago things were not as bad, but today it's something else entirely.
Things cannot turn the corner. Maybe in 100 years' time sha.

Let's just turn the corner to 10 years ago, pre-APC, e no far like that.

The only reason you see people dwelling on the opinions of those that made different choices is the consequences won't select based on what you chose.

People are watching the quality of their lives erode right in their faces, I want to think if they're not busy rubbing it in, they'd be out there smashing heads.
No like, these people are really really funny. grin grin

They better fivk off with that gaslighting rubbish.

They'll tell you not to rub it in, only for another election season to come, and it's rinse and repeat. When they were demonising those of us warning about the imminent calamity of that man, where were they? They don't remember that one?

It is we vs. us baje! If you actually had any conscience, YOU WOULD HAVE CARED ABOUT THE SUFFERING OF PEOPLE UNDER BUHARI, used that to guide your political choices and do better! But no, you voted and campaigned for Buhari pro-max with your full chest, you're coming here to guilt trip us about people's actually suffering out there and losing their lives and businesses. Did it start today?? No, it did not. But by your political choice, you worsened the situation! For everyone! Your support greatly contributed to the mess we're in right now. So I will rub it in, and call your fuçking stupidity out! I am in the right to; I am "the people out there suffering" that you're referring to. grin

That we are here commenting on this thread doesn't mean we are not feeling the economy too. Yes, some people do not have that privilege, but abeg, it is not a competition. The economy is biting me, and if you chat shit to me, I will curse your generations out with all the anger in me.

You've never had any conscience nor concern for people in the first place, so stop trying to play the game of appealing to people's emotions now.

For APC demons, it is only shame and mockery and everything vile that gets to them. Every other thing else is a waste of time.

Awon alayebaje gbogbo.

Even if we discount Naija's unique problems e go still hard. I don't know anywhere where things are improving economically. Even though it is nowhere near Naija's situation, in most Western countries na coded austerity measures most people dey do, including governments sef.

I know it is the not the popular opinion, but i just don't see how things will improve to the level of 10 years ago, in the foreseeable future. Nigeria's ota plenty pass our enemies.

You did not remember people's lives when you were comparing the election to a game of football and reducing dissenting voices to support for Barcelona/Chelsea, but now you want us to be mindful of hurtful statements and to act like "one".

You must be mad.

Okay, I am saying it. I am "one of the people out there suffering," and I say Ogun go kee your papa for fostering Tinubu on us.

Now what? undecided

I am exactly mad at you for your political choice that put me in this mess!

How are you certain that Atiku or Obi would've been any better?
Shut the fuçk up.

They said Tinubu will do better, hence their support for him until he got there, one way or the other. Now where is the better?

Yes, was it not because they said Tinubu is the BEST out of all of them? Who anybody else supported is inconsequential here. If/when those two other become presidents, we will know what to do/say.

But right now, as at now, the man that was touted as the best thing since sliced bread, because he built Lagos and raised its IGR, that is the man there. The man with the great brains and all.

When they were saying all these things about Tinubu, were they under a spell? Did they campaign for Tinubu based on "we're not God, we don't know how it'll go" or did they campaign for him because of his track record and their strong belief in him that he will deliver?

So you're telling me that we, I—am in the wrong to hold them to their own words? If Obi was there and performing woefully, you have every right to hold ME to account. Will you take this nonsense excuse from me if I told you that "nothing is guaranteed?"

But as it is now, it is Tinubu that is there. And for as long as he continues to fail, I will drag you, I will hound you, I will harrass you, I will harangue you to provide or show the good things that was promised to ME, as a citizen, when you decided to push Tinubu in my face as a good option over Obi.

Omo! shocked

I just had to go check the screenshot again. They budgeted N100m to construct solar street light in one street in Ilesha Osun state and budget N1.5bn to construct solar street light in a street in Bayelsa.

Even if the street long pass Broad street in Lagos Island, the street light no supposed cost N1.5bn . Haba!

The first step to ever make this country work is to trash the 1999 constitution. The process of budget making needs to be well spelt out in the new constitution and let there be a very transparent process of budget review before the budget is signed. Without that, they will just keep stealing money with all these nonsense budget padding.

We will just keep seeing all these ridiculous budget figures, complain about it year-in year-out and nothing will change. In remember how we complained about Lagos state's budget and after something everything died down. embarassed

Reno, a PDP Member tọkàntọkàn, dey praise this same Administration bro - with clear facts.
Reno has also praised and gushed over Peter Obi being a good man and an excellent leader. In 2021, and as recent as two years ago. Yet here we are.

Why should we believe the words of a man who so lack principles and can call white black for you? Where do we go from there?

Tinubu was the best choice in 2023. And if the same contestants come out in 2027, He will still be the best
So where are the effects of his being best? It's been more than a year.
