I just had to go check the screenshot again. They budgeted N100m to construct solar street light in one street in Ilesha Osun state and budget N1.5bn to construct solar street light in a street in Bayelsa.

Even if the street long pass Broad street in Lagos Island, the street light no supposed cost N1.5bn . Haba!

The first step to ever make this country work is to trash the 1999 constitution. The process of budget making needs to be well spelt out in the new constitution and let there be a very transparent process of budget review before the budget is signed. Without that, they will just keep stealing money with all these nonsense budget padding.

We will just keep seeing all these ridiculous budget figures, complain about it year-in year-out and nothing will change. In remember how we complained about Lagos state's budget and after something everything died down.

You know this over spending is the reason nothing good can come out of this government
Those assholes will tell us to endure while they blow the funds they have and still squeeze out the civilians for more tax just to satisfy their wastefulness
Yet in all this the country is poor, from vp renovating the shanty osinbanjo once stayed to emilokan getting another private jet because he feels the old one have passed useful life
