All politics is local.

If after all the handwriting on the wall, anyone still thinks that Obaseki & Ighodalo will win the elections in Edo State, they are either being very deceptive or out rightly daft.

In Benin City, the level of disregard Obaseki showed to the Omo N’Oba will come back to haunt him and Ighodalo.

100% they are also not winning in Edo North because of Oshiomhole and Shuaibu whom Obaseki has done very bad to.

In Esanland, it is already clear that all the indices are against them. They are losing everything that should make them matter in that zone. All their major functionaries have decamped.

It is as clear as day that OBASEKI/ASUE IGHODALO are on a losing train.

As for Olumide Akpata, our siblings from the East have done so much damage to his ticket by their attack on the Omo N’oba and all Edo people. A lot of people have seen that those siblings of ours only care about LP & Obi so long as it brings about a SE President. It’s been very clear for a while that, beyond that, they don’t really care about anything or anyone else.

This is another pointer to why APC will win. Immediate past APC chairman col David Imuse lost the primaries but is solidly supporting his kinsman Okpebholo while that of pdp instead of supporting his party is working against them...

Just last month,two sitting councillors in pdp were suspended for secretly supporting Okpebholo in this same local government. I pity Asue
