I don't Support His Crime but He has only Killed 1 person Why would He be Sentenced to Death after all Most Whites Serial Killers who have murdered up to 70 People don't even get the Capital punishment Derek Chauvin the White Cop who Chocked that Black American Man that Yelled I can't breathe to death(I have forgotten his name) even in daylight in front of bystanders didn't even get the death penalty

Moreso it is Democrat Government era and New York isn't really big on death penalties nowadays 40 to life is more or less like life imprisonment too

No, he will never be out, 40 years is the start of his life sentence. After 40 years he will apply for parole which the parole board would deny.

No matter how friendly you are to a snake, it will never truly reciprocate... It will always be a snake, and will strike when you least expect.

This is not justice. If I be Fahim family members I will wait patiently once he's done serving 36years which is very unlikely as he might be released after 20 years, na to serve am the real justice. This guy deserves a death sentence .

Can you imagine?? He will probably serve 7 years and either placed on probation for the next 3 years or released for good behavior and he carries on with his life. That South African blade runner comes to mind..

Their is no Concurrently in USA that is only applicable in the U.K or African Prisons e.g Nigeria He will serve His 40 Years fully

Maybe but he would never come outta prison. After 40 years he will apply for parole which would be denied. Even if he is granted parole once he commits any crime even if it is just drunken disorderly he will go back and serve his life sentence.

Yes, some 25 years to lifers some times stays in jail for 50 years due to so many paroles denials.

The man ought to be electrocuted to death and not sentenced for 40 years.

If this criminal were to be a Nigerian being judged in Nigeria, he would have gone free. They wont even arrest him. USA teaching Nigeria court how to be fair in judgement.

If it was the other way round, the Nigerian will be sentenced to death-after-death. And the entire world will be made to believe all Nigerians are fiendish and brutish.

This is not justice. It is an indirect promotion of violence.

Lawyers in the house, is it possible to appeal judgement like this and demand for proper justice for the wicked man.

If it's possible, the family should not rest until the murderer is equal beheaded and proportionately dismembered.
