Agreement for wickedness. Why must it be only NNPC that will buy PMS directly from Dangote? |

Bobloco:What do they mean by “allow them to continue paying subsidies?” Why are these bastards like this ? Remove the subsidy totally and allow people buy at 2500! If Dangote likes let him sell at 10,000. Useless government and werey people |

Bobloco:ALTERNATEID, CodeTemplarr here's vanguard basically again repeating that NNPCL would be the sole buyer of Dangote Fuel while others would buy from the NNPCL. So the talk of a willing and buyer and seller is out of the window right ? |

| Re: FG, Dangote Reach Agreement On Petrol Supply, Lifting Begins Tomorrow by Minjim: 9:01am On Sep 14, 2024 |
He said other decisions reached by the committee include the sale of Diesel in Naira by the Dangote Refinery to any interested off-taker while PMS will only be sold to NNPC Why are others not permitted to load pms? Nigerians don't trust NNPCL on this secret agreement that may see pms being sold at over #800 because even when Dangote has not finished the construction of his Refinery ( that corrupt ) Kyari had said refining locally will not reduce the pump price. Does that sound reasonable? |

JuanDeDios:NNPC as a company doesn't produce up to 350k per day of crude ,the bulk of our crude is produced by IOC and a good percentage of NNPC crude is already tied to foreign loan ... |

Ngasky:Because petrol (PMS) is mostly consumed by the common man and the government is still paying subsidy on it through NNPC |
| Re: FG, Dangote Reach Agreement On Petrol Supply, Lifting Begins Tomorrow by Minjim: 9:08am On Sep 14, 2024 |
casualobserver:Those using diesel fuel aren't they Nigerians? Selling only to NNPCL will only compound matters because all the subsidy corruption occurred under this same NNPCL. What is the assurance they won't bring corruption into this process too? And don't tell us the FG will be subsidizing it because up till now they always claimed subsidy is over. If truly why not sell to every willing buyers after all NNPCL has its own Refinery that they claim will soon begin operation. Why is no one asking about that one? Only Dangote Refinery they are now talking about. They think all of us are fools |

Exousiang01:Be grateful that the impasse has been resolved atleast, 385kbpd is significantly that's over 60 million litres representing about 64% of the refinery installed capacity... besides it doesn't make business sense to go on full capacity until there's assurance of the offtaker's capacity to absolve the finished product. More importantly the statement reads from October 15 meaning he still have enough stock to sustain it till the prearranged date more importantly the NNPC supply arrangement is not a one off thing. The concern should be the pricing which is still shrouded in secrecy. |

Bovis:FG has never admitted to paying so don't speak for them. |

richmond500:Dangote refinery does not need Nigeria to survive. He can import all his crude and export all his products. Singapore does not produce ANY crude and it is one of the largest petroleum refiners in the world. India has the largest refinery in the world, it produces relatively little crude. The deal was done to help Nigeria solve its problems not to help Dangote. Dangote does not need Nigeria. |

Aile:Very simple understanding, marketers will divert the product to the neighbouring countries for higher pay. You should know that the major problem in the industry is the marketers. |

| Re: FG, Dangote Reach Agreement On Petrol Supply, Lifting Begins Tomorrow by Mayflowa(m): 9:17am On Sep 14, 2024 |
Aile:They are probably subsidizing petrol but free market for diesel. NNPC could be buying at N1200 per liter and selling to marketer at N800 per liter. |
| Re: FG, Dangote Reach Agreement On Petrol Supply, Lifting Begins Tomorrow by lexy2014: 9:17am On Sep 14, 2024 |
Aile:Nnpc cannot afford to allow dangote produce and supply independently cos it will cut off their source of fraud under fuel subsidy. Now that they can no longer claim subsidy payment and landing cost for dangote fuel, they have to monopolise local supply of dangote fuel by fixing price so that they can maintain the margin of fraud they perpetuated when they were imported. |
