How they will remarried when someone has paid the entire life insurance money. Can the new husband returned it? Or is the new husband willing to take such risk after the woman has born all the useful children for another person? That is the question and the reason for not remarrying
igbo girls are not cheap like our yoruba girls. Igbo girls don't get pregnant before marriage unlike our yoruba girls. Igbo girls don't sleep around in marriage unlike our yoruba girls. Igbo guys do pay their wife bride price unlike our yoruba guys.

Yoruba top the list of single girls getting pregnant out of wedlock and also top the list of divorcee

All the southern states whose indigenes crawl out of their huts to insult northerners for "underage" marriage are topping the list. Hypocrites!

Its normal. In igbo land a man hardly marries two wives and a woman hardly marries two husbands unlike some other tribes we know wink

Our igbo wives stick to their husbands through life or death. That's why everyone wants to take an Igbo woman as a wife even if their bride prices are astronomically high.

Indeed, Igbo Amaka

So you're trying to say that in the north and southwest where polygamy is the norm, that all those women that remarry after first having kids for one man are thereby bound to deliver USELESS CHILDREN for their new husbands? 🤔

Hmm. No wonder . . . Many things are adding up now cool this must be the reason why we lack useless children in the south east

No data. No source of data. No method of data collection. No sample size. No period of study. No scope. Nothing. Just dumb stats and a chart (I don't know who told the clowns that a chart qualifies any claim) and yet sent to the front page to dumb down IQ.

Hope people from South West will question the source of these data....

This data is very correct
Igbo women hardly re marry as widows
Their chances to re-marry is very slim. The culture of one wife, one woman is more pronounced in the south East and South South when compared with other regions. So who's husband will they remarry to?.....non.
It is also very uncommon to find a single guy showing sincere interest to marry a single mother in South East particularly, even if she is a mother of one. So the case is more of the effect of the social practices there rather than a case of choice.

My guess based on the stats is that many of these deaths are probably due to poor healthcare facilities and road accidents

The SE I know has probably the lowest single parenthood resulting from divorce (both parents still alive)
Yeah, the other part of this data, single motherhood when father is alive, SE doesn't show up.

Also, this means many women in the SE are choosing to remain single after their husbands death, at least, I think so. Don't really know how to interpret this data.

Yes you are correct, our yoruba girls are in freedom and never for sale. Even if you pay pride price they must return it back to you as long as you show the intent and love for the daughter. Our yoruba daughter remains recognized in the family for everything including inheritance unlike igbos that recognizes only male children in the family. Our yoruba don't appreciate bastards at all, reason the ownership of pregnancy is very key than any other things. As you can see in some breakups and %DNA test, Unlike our igbos that celebrate bastards with a child being claimed by girls father simply because the person that impregnate didnt pay the killer pride price. Or in some part of igbland where a widow went outside and get pregnant giving birth to a child that answers the late husband name and the family accepted it. Anyway cultural background differs but the behavioral pattern of bastards when they grow up is always shown everywhere they go, this is not so good for the names of the original family son's and daughters.

One thing I love about Igbo women is they will stay for you and answer your name even in death. They hardly remarry, instead they will stick around and train the children you left behind to make sure your name is not wiped out in history.
So many examples abound
Yes, that's true! Just like this "very loyal" Igbo woman with three kids for three different men! She is now now even looking for a fourth one! Shior,Igbo women my foot!

I challenge them to come out and present the methodological approach they used in arriving at this rubbish they posted.
I think it is about time relevant authorities waded into this idea of waking up to see people peddling fake data and information just to stay relevant.
