Who are this drivers still using bolt. With this kind of ridiculous fare price. How do you guys meet ur targets? Or is there any other things you guys are doing illegally on the app to make moneyhuh I am curious honestly..
Many (if not all) bolt drivers would ignore such ride.
Bolt and indrive sometimes share the same price range.
Come see yéyé prices on indrive fare prices.
These people are not ready to do business at all.
I no dey kuku stress myself.

Much respect, baba.

Isn't that a bit concerning?

Your line of thought is perfect.

Getting a loan in this high inflationary environment can never be wrong in my eyes. Especially one with payment plan that can be spread over 5 years.

You'll likely never be able to save up to buy that car. Even if you manage to save up, it will be 6-7m by the time you're ready.
Most banks now review the interest on existing loans to customers as CBN increases their rates.

There is an appointed time for everything, a time to live and a time to die...lol... Besides, it's been ages i contributed my few cents on this platform, but oftentimes I try to go through the comments to see if it's still what it use to be, with the likes of king of meme BAZOO, the Volvo guy and many more, Felicity, Barbiturate and so on.

But I'm thinking of an idea. I don't believe e-hailing biz can be like in the past anymore, we all know the reasons, which ranges from exchange rate, currency devaluation, inflation, price of petrol and many more.

My idea is this, I love when people test the waters... this e-hailing association set up in time past, with the pioneer always on Naija info radio complaining about price fares at all times. How about those who are still active in this hustle, to form a group and approach the chairman of the presidential initiative on CNG, at their warehouse in ibafo Lagos state and have a discussion with him on how he could use his influence, either to give a discount on the cost or proffer a workable plan, that will favour the drivers. The e-hailing apps too are not excluded. I believe most of drivers discussion should be centered around this initiative.

Out of curiosity, have visited Mobil filling station at agidingbi to find out more about this CNG and hoping to visit the ibafo center as well in no distant time.

I'm impressed how a driver narrated how he bought N18,000 worth of CNG and drove from Lagos to Abuja (source AriseTV)

Please, let us start looking for ways to stay afloat in this dire times.

Thank you&God bless

Yes you're right, ehailing isn't what it used to be but the reason why such a thread as this was created was so that we can all brainstorm new ideas and carry each other along as well. No matter what the government does to frustrate drivers one thing is bound to remain certain and that is the fact that TRANSPORTATION IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE A BASIC NECESSITY FOR EVERYBODY so why throw in the towel only to give the next man your slot to achieve what was destined to be yours 🤷

Example, on the telegram thread today I was lamenting about how much fuel I had to buy to travel from the east to lagos last week, I AM STILL REELING FROM IT'S EFFECT ON MY WALLET and I was letting them know that as regular transporters they should start thinking of this CNG initiative on time because the fuel price can only get higher from here on out. These are the kind of things we need to talk about now as it directly affects us here in pursuit of our daily bread.

It really hurt to know there is another place where such a discussion is ongoing that isn't 'right here', i mean, for heavens sake this thread is sorry, was GROUND ZERO cry

Anyhow sha, I wish all pilots well in tackling this new monster within our midst in the name of 'rising fuel prices' ⛽️

If we are being honest, hardly will any rider will book on Uber, when Bolt is half the price.

Especially when they know that it is the same 03 Corrola that will pull up

The riders are definitely on Bolt, so that is why the drivers are there
Is this the reason for this dearth of trips I've been experiencing lately, today's really got me upset.

I really can't say.

But i believe Nigeria is hard on everybody, including riders.

Which rider will see (for the same destination) 10k on Uber, 6k on Bolt and 4k on Indrive, and still choose Uber?

The whole thing is a mess

I guess you use bolt.
Bolt has lost a whole lot of riders. Imagine being on bolt for 20 mins and more and no request, even in a good area! Today no good at all!

Since the recent fuel increament, I buy 20/21k fuel and I make 55/60k, but today, with 20k fuel, I made 40k. It was Bolt's bonus that made it 46k, after completing 7 trips. Fuel don finish already. Time to sit down and have a rethink

Are you serious with ehailing? Using a 2.4L engine? Then my brother CNG is your new best friend 🧡

Embrace it while it's still government regulated. Once this fuel issue worsens it will get out of hand
