Holy books are not peer reviewed works. They have not earned the worthiness of being quoted academically.

It is very rampant among religionists to be quoting their holy books as if they contain peer reviewed absolute truths. A religionist is the nightmare of the true academic. The Bible for instance is a compilation of works written by largely unknown authors but Christians will be quoting it as an authority. The same is true for the Quran which can be described as plagiarized from the Bible.

I have nothing against ODU IFA, but making claims about its scientific nature is just stretching the narrative. The results are always subjective, sometimes vague, and cannot be clearly defined. It is what it is. There is no need to claim it is something else to make it more valid and acceptable.

You don't know what IFA is. IFA is an information tool. It is a connection with your spirit.

I know what it is not. It is not science. The results it yields cannot be consistently and successfully replicated by different practitioners.

There is no way of knowing if you are telling the truth or if I made a mistake. Anyways, IFA is a tool for mining information and I have used it to get outstanding results

It is not mechanical like that. When you use IFA, you are dealing with spirits and spirits are non material human beings. So far the Babalawo you know and acknowledge can teach you how he obtains his results, then it is scientific but relationship with spirits is not mechanical just like relationship with human beings is not.
