People need to face the reality of how things work in Nigeria. This has been the case in the past, continues in the present, and is likely to remain so in the future. Instead of constantly complaining, it's more practical to find ways to benefit or gain within this system. Complaining won't change anything, and moralistic people need to understand that morality doesn't pay bills, so it's not productive. The Nigerian government is not designed to assist everyone, you have to rely on yourself first. I strongly believe that individual outcomes in this country are more about personal choices than the current government.

Nigeria's politics has not evolved to the point where you won't do some level of ass kissing or patronage to the government at the center, rules mean nothing, especially in the APC-led government.

I want to believe this is AI doing his own arse kissing, so at least a level playing field is allowed, and the elections not rigged using federal might. That said, whether it's arse kissing or he truly believes a grifter like BAT is a democrat, it doesn't mean much, he's the only candidate that can prevent the dunce APC is floating from winning, and his credentials are solid, that's good enough given the alternative.
