Nigerians allow themselves to be manipulated like pawns in a game of ludo or table tennis because the majority are gullible and shockingly passive. From N167.00 per litre before this evil government came into power to now N1,200 per litre, and yet Nigerians act as if everything is normal! I've already given up on these weak, suffering, and smiling people called Nigerians; it's as if they were born to suffer!

Why, for crying out loud, aren't the people—especially the downtrodden—out on the streets protesting against Tinubu and his cruel government?!

They don't want to come out and protest, because the man is from a majority trib. His majority trib are supporting and backing his hardship insensitive policies. Had it been the man was from a minority trib there would been effective protest that would ensure high price are revised, reversed.

Tinubu is from my tribe, Yoruba, and we are even from the same state—Lagos. However, I will not remain silent because of these shared ties. It’s clear that Tinubu is not performing well! The same energy many of us used to support his candidacy, canvass for votes, and fight his battles online is the same energy we will use to criticize him and hold him accountable.

I don’t believe Nigerians are avoiding protests just because Tinubu is from a majority tribe—no, I don’t believe that. The simple truth is that Nigerians are often too fearful. When you reflect on the harsh suffering Nigerians have endured—and continue to endure—you can't help but realize that the level of passivity is both frustrating and disappointing.

Well, I think the main issue is our exchange rate which is performing poorly at the moment. However, I hope the demand for Forex when it comes to importation of petroleum products has come to an end.

Moreover, government should ensure other refineries are available and producing as well.

It's really not funny. In fact, the current price of Premium Unleaded Gasoline 10 ppm FOB (free on board) MED (Platts) Futures is 773.162 USD — it has risen 0.42% in the past 24 hours. That means the price could even increase further.

It simply means the other refineries are not or will not function as NNPC has not come out to say how much they will buy or sell from them

Decided when? For all you and I know, Dangote's agreement with the Federal government may have always been to have NNPC as the primary buyer for the product. I mean how else would you explain Dangote not already having a list of local buyers for the product all before all of this? An interview on the news a couple of days ago had one particular marketer insisting that many marketers would have loved to have had the chance to negotiate their own price deal directly with Dangote, something they had no chance to do given that NNPCL was named the primary buyer of Dangote PMS.
