Do you know how many people commit suicide around the world daily? I was just reading about a 17-year-old who committed suicide yesterday here in the US. The only reason she's in the news is simply because she's a known person. There are many many more that you don't even read in the news.

All in all, suicide is not the next option. Either due to debts, or tough economy, or divorce, or DNA tests...for whatever reason.

There are political reasons why people commit suicide too. Why can't people in a country like Nigeria going through some of the toughest times seen in almost 40 years bring this up?

Idiotic fool. Africans have been committing suicide since beginning of time. It's just a taboo that we like to keep as a secret. There are societies where people are required to commit suicide for their actions.
Many taboos are kept secret while westerners are more willing to tell others as a means to prevent further occurrences.
